I'll tell you how it works. You've sinned. Lots of times. Just like everyone. You're still a Christian. Just because people don't agree with one part of the Bible doesn't mean they can't be Christian.

If they want to believe they are Christian, I'm not going to chase them away from God.
But there is still a right and wrong and just because other people sin and jump off of a cliff, it doesn't mean that I have to sin and endorse homosexuality.

Funny how I have never seen a thread started on this forum for the express purpose to beat-up on gays ...so who keeps bringing up the issue ? Its those trying to promote and excuse this sin...

We need a thread promoting adultery I guess?

Homosexuals are anything but harmless. The gay agenda is trying to demolish the family structure that holds society (in large part) together.

Actually, I am quite aware I am on a Christian site. Thank you though. I wish you well in life, and I sincerely hope you open your eyes and see that the world is changed. God created us knowing we would sin. Being gay is no different from any other sin that we have done. I feel like I have to keep repeating the same point to you over and over. No one is perfect, and there is lots of things in our everyday society that may go against God's word. We know he will cleanse us of our sins, so why judge others?

No one beat up on anyone. The bible is just clear on things. Will Christians be perfect, always make the right choices and not make any mistakes? NO.

Jesus said that if you break the least of the laws you are guilty of all. SO yes you have to agree with all of God's word and not decide he was wrong because it conflicts with your own brand of sin.

You don't decide "how it works" God does that...and you clearly have little understanding of how He has decided this issue is supposed to be dealt with by Christians.

We don't hate homosexuals, we hate the gay agenda. Maybe read your Bible, you'll learn something about the nature of God.

This makes me laugh. There are terrorists across the world tearing families apart by killing their children and you think GAYS are destructive? You must have not been reading eh news lately or something. There is much worse things going on in the world than loving someone of the same sex.

Do you think you will change what Christians believe? I don't.
Do you think you are just in opposition to what everyone else believes and will just start a fight?

In the end of days the world will be as it was in the days of Sodom and Gomorrah, and look at what God did to those two places.

Oh trust me, I am nowhere close to God. I am the first to admit that. And don't you dare act as I'm the one acting as other people's judge when you can't even get over the fact that society changes and people have the right to live their life without people like you being hateful.

I think that is maybe what she wants? To start a forum war? If that is the case maybe a mod should close this thread now?

Oh good. You explained it all to me. Good to know a master bible expert like you is able to tell me how the bible works. We'll just ignore those unbiblical statements you made, though, so you don't look bad, ok? *wink wink nudge nudge

There is a biblical distinction between a person that sins, as we all do, and a person who actively, purposefully, willingly engages in specific sin over and over.

You are so adamant about this subject you either must be questioning your own sexuality or know someone who is gay. Or just here to troll. Why not be honest about the real reason you're here? Quit dodging the statements made that discredit your arguments and face them head on. Stop repeating the same tired argument. You haven't really made any solid argument. You just keep saying 'so what if they sin, we all sin'. Does that excuse sin? Guess we didn't need Jesus to die, cause sin is no big deal, cause we all do it.
Truth is you have no ground to stand on in defending homosexuality biblically. The only right thing you've said so far is that homosexuals should not be mistreated, just like anyone else on the planet. And, i don't mistreat them. Never have. In fact i've worked with a number of homosexuals and they never even knew my stance on homosexuality because i didn't feel a need to tell them. Some of them were nice people i enjoyed working with. Some were jerks i couldn't stand.

So you can come here with whatever motives you're hiding, but the truth is, God say it's an abomination. The end. Anything more about it than that is just your opinion, and that does not trump Gods word.

I actually care about homosexuals and have some in my family that I care about but I'm not going to give them endorsement. It is about right and wrong and we're told to love them but nowhere are we told to give in to them.

And there it is. Says that we can disagree, but as is usual, we are called hateful for disagreeing. The truth came out quickly.

You are the one that came here trying to lecture Christians about being wrong for obeying God. You truly have no idea what you are talking about and have no idea what true love is in God.
