Lol, but if a person does that in a public square (w/short hair) they will get some weird stares and maybe even get committed....I don't want a "huggy jacket" (straight-jacket) and be taken to the ward ;P.

I had forgotten that when they put this record out, (a '45', if you know what they were, the flip side, Side B, was Side A played in reverse.
Can't believe somebody put both sides on one youtube clip, so we can hear it straight through. Hope you get a good laugh from it.

I NOW understand why Mom used to sing that all the time. She had three kids in the space of 26 months. lol

And what did we do when she started singing it? Joined in along with the proper moves that went with it. And then we'd ask if she could make us strait jackets.

Missed opportunity, Mom. We would have gone along with it when you really wanted us to. lol

I never got that song until now when I can see it from Mom's viewpoint. Thank you!

You may be just old enough to remember this. You were in your 20's along with all/most of your siblings when you'd gather together at your parent's house. (Or your wife's parent's house.) You + all your siblings meant there were little kids running around while you were trying to talk and enjoy yourself. It was often a Sunday afternoon because you had all gone to church earlier, and Sunday is family time.

What did you do with those kids? Did you plop them in front of a TV to watch Sunday Afternoon Matinee?

Yeah! That's the kind of movies they showed. And I was one of those kids watching along with my brothers and cousins. lol

Those little kids in your mind right now have all developed gray hair or no hair since.

(And I'm joking around with you, because I just saw a cousin I haven't seen since he was a teen on a dirt bike, and I'm shocked that he's on the upside of middle-aged now. How did he get so much older when I didn't? lol)

Hi..you mentioned that some kids at school are bullying a homosexual student..this needs to be reported to some one in authority at the school. Bullying is terrible even if it isn't because of a person's sexual orientation..

Ok, that really brought back a lot of memories. I was quite the crazy teenager when that came out. I never really realized it was about a relationship gone bad. He sounded like a nice guy.

And it is hard to believe, they actually played that song on AM radio! That is why we had pre-sets on our car. To switch away from songs like this when they came on! LOL
