My bosses boss always wants to be right and thinks he is right. He is the type of
person who will spend half an hour arguing the rain came from the left instead of
the right - who cares!

Some of the trivial stuff you can just ignore and brush off, but the more important work
related stuff causes much vexation to my direct boss and us stuff. Even when he is blantently
wrong he will make out that there is some lesson to be learnt in it somewhere - a lesson
for us that is, not him. He should have gone into politics. :D

It use to irritate the living day lights out of me to the degree that in the past I've even had
arguments with him in the office. Then I realised I was being as bad as he was trying to
prove I was right (even though I was right. Lol). So now I just ignore him as much as
it is possible to do. It's a pity we don't have ignore buttons in real life!

My boss still has arguments with him and on occasions and his standard response is
"I'm your boss".

Praise God I don't feel the need to get involved any more in his insane drivel.
Sometimes I think he was sent to test me and remind me about patience.
I would really like to purchase a button like that:p

The more wrong I realize I am, the more I have the need to be right.

With God.

What is the root of this need?
In my experience and from looking into the matter (I had a reason to do so), it would be an issue of control

Controlling people are actually insecure and keep it together by arranging the atoms of the universe (in their own mind)

I thought I was wrong once - but I was mistaken.
