the dad to my children left us but when he was leaving, he called me for an outing and from there, he told me it was over. he never gave me any reason but he said he just feels we can not be together. meanwhile, the second born has a health issue. i used to cry and pray over it but i ceased. But my children are still telling God that they need their father home. i at times feel bad when i don't agree with them in prayer. advise me please....... my children are still keeping the candle burning but for me i gave up. am i doing a wrong thing? how do i approach it?

Pray that God's will be done and that God comforts your kids and heal their hurt.

Dear God hear our prayers, amen.

Pray for your husband.
We're supposed to pray for those who hurt us.
You're angry and rightfully so. Not that he will come back but prayer never hurts.

I would encourage they pray for him to come and be involved with them.. I would say forgive and release it. Easier said than done but it's necessary.

Pray for his well-being, including spiritual
Pray for your children and with your children
Encourage them to also continue to pray their own prayers (it is OK if you don't all always pray for the same thing)
Then leave the result in God's hands
