I read somewhere that non-white christian are looked down upon. They are not considered perfect believers or racism and christian zeal can co-exist in a person without anyone seeing any contradiction.

Was it a non-white that said it? What country as some countries have more racial tensions that may cloud a particular individuals view.
There are no perfect believers, of any color, and I've yet to meet a Christian who believed there was in the past 25 years.

There are some groups that try to combine Christianity and racism, such as the Ku Klux Klan. But they are not a true Christian organization.
Some people just like to create drama and tension and using race makes it very easy. You have to look at the source of information before considering it as true.

Does it really matter how other people think? Will it change your life one way or another to know what I believe in this matter? I smell bait here, and everyone else is free to take it. I'll leave it for them.

John 3:16 - For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.

Romans 10:13 - Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.

Those who look down upon other races are not of God.

Yes, it does matter what other people think because if i find someone has a higher level of belief then i would like to be like them.

You have to look at the source of information before considering it as true.
This is the answer you need right here. Did Jesus preach racism? Did He say only those of a certain race would be saved, and others of another race wouldnt be? If He didnt, then is Christianity racist?

Youll have people who call themselves Christian who are racist. Did you know there are gays who are racist? Does your source also claim that being gay is a racist act because the are gay racists?

Christianity is not what we do and say, it is the teachings of Jesus Christ. And He made no difference when it came to race.

Does someone wearing their pants hanging half-way down to their knees, with their butt hanging out, matter?

You can attempt to sound righteous here and say, "Of course it doesn't matter; I see all people the same... just like Jesus did." But, the honest people among us know better.

Naturally, it is not the location of a piece of cloth that matters. No more than it is the pigmentation of skin that matters. We all form opinions (that includes prejudices) by the perceptions we have developed. Perception IS esoteric reality. In our minds, people tend to be what we think they are, until we get beyond that ingrained or inculcated instinctive response, and look at people as individuals. That honestly is NOT a natural thing for us to do. It has to be intentional.

Only false christians would look down upon other Christians because of their race and declare them deficient believers simply because of the race...

Why are you so quick to jump to the conclusion that a questioner is baiting?

Many times, when the topic of race comes up there's large arguments. newWine has likely seen it many times and is just on guard. As far as non whites looked down on by some sects of Christianity, yes it is true. I believe it wasn't until the 80s or 90s that the Mormon church allowed a black elder/prophet in their church. Mormons felts blacks were inferior to whites. There are
many other beliefs that share similar ideas, but they are false beliefs. On the other side there are the Black Hebrew Israelites who feel they're superior especially to whites. Any Christian belief system that puts one race above another is to
be avoided.

Galatians 3:26-29 New King James Version (NKJV)

[SUP]26 [/SUP]For you are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus. [SUP]27 [/SUP]For as many of you as were baptized into Christ have put on Christ. [SUP]28 [/SUP]There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is neither male nor female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus. [SUP]29 [/SUP]And if you are Christ’s, then you are Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise.

I don't know what colour the OP is, nor do I care. Philip was taken by the Holy Spirit to preach to an Ethiopian eunuch in the desert. Ethiopians are black, generally, and eunuchs were not allowed in the temple because they were not true men.

Yet, that Eunuch was baptized once he understood the gospel. He became a believer, equal to any other believer in the sight of God.

Genetics shows there is only one race, the human race. Although the external features may differ - hair, skin and eye colour, height, weight, and other superficial features, Paul is adamant in two places in Scripture (Col. 3:11 & Gal. 3:28) that there is neither Jew nor Greek. In other words, anyone can be saved, and no one is lesser than another.

And I have a one-word answer to this question.... YES.

It shouldn't, but, "Yes," it does. (Pollyanna doesn't live in my city.)

Can I share a bit different opinion?

There's no doubt that there are some who are biased, bigoted or whatever you want to call them. Which is not fit for Christians, BTW. But we all have a cross to bear.

Example, the woman at the well. Or the woman that Jesus referred to as a dog( which if you study that passage, He wasn't slandering her.)

Clue phone is ringing, it's for us: life isn't fair.

Whatever your trial or status in life: 1) God is not unaware. 2) you are judged by how you handle the pressure, pain, shame or injustice.

The important thing is, you are called to endure, shine and rejoice in the Lord. This is just yours. If you look at all the civil unrest, those protesting look like fools and are worse than their offenders. Stop fighting with the ghosts. Most people aren't as against you as you want to believe.

Be a man or woman of God and shine for Him. Stop thinking about yourself and what others are thinking. Like you could know anyway. Some avoid you just out of sheer damage control.

This is what you need to worry about:

Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen.
