I'm grateful for my family and for all that I have. We were in need and our church brought us food so I'm very thankful for that. I'm thankful for my wife. We always tell each other that even if the whole world falls apart, as long as we have each other at the end of the day then we are okay. However I can't help but feel disappointed because my brother had planned to come visit from North Carolina and he was not able to make it. We only get to see him about once a year. He says he will try to make it by New Year's

oh my, there are so many heart-aches in the fallen world - but our Holy Saviour always seems
to make things work out, if we Love Him, no matter what...may we remember His gracious ways
and not fret or be over-sorrowful for what didn't go the way that we expected...

Or perhaps I'm not as fortunate as you to have never fallen upon hard times and needed assistance. Does it make you feel good knowing you're better than me now? How Christian of you

there are many people who have a hard time putting food on their table. It is not uncommon with the cost of food and especially for people who are unemployed underemployed disabled elderly... you would be surprised how any people have very little food... it takes one extra bill one higher then normal bill one car breaking down one unexpected household item dying or breaking..... either way the reason i have have to say should not matter the reality is people many many people struggle to have enough food..

guys I know you don not get along real well following a bunch of posts I have seen with you both in them but this is a very hard topic Issue to talk about how about we both have some compassion for each other for once.... I think God would be shaking his head right now and saying why are you degrading each other you are supposed to be building each other up and encouraging each other.... Now put your non brotherly feelings a side and be compassionate about each other for once Good grief call a truce or something agree to disagree something

He only asked, was there any need for that?
probably could have been said better I agree with you on that. I think that even saying there is a struggle is very hard. So being asked why especially to a guy is like a feeling of not providing etc.. It can be hurtful and hard to talk about.

He meant it as a personal attack to belittle me.
not sure he was going there but it if there is concern involved it may have been better worded... I know you have a struggle but do not think that every time Utah says something to you it is a personal attack. He genuinely could be concerned.

You don't think or you know? there is a big difference.
