I am one of those people thats said to have so much potential but yet to live up to it. Every area in my life is a loss or on the verg. My children have pulled away, my boyfriend is definitely considering breaking it off, my car is totaled, i totally mismanage money, I have to move, no one wants to rent to me because I haven't been good at paying bills, late or missing work.. Pos. Fired anytime...but hey I have my health lol. But really I never felt closer to God. He has been speaking through people, been blessed with unexpected money, i was place somewhere that i helped a dying person accept JESUS. Amazing thingshave been happening. I know with out a doubt my life is being revamped. Its no longer only mine. I know for a fact He will place me where I need to be. I know right now thibgs are shifting so I can be where He wants me.
Now because of my frivolous irresponsible ways alot of people dont want to rent to me. I totally understand i screwed up and have to be out tomorrow. I know God will provide.. Its in his time which I accept. Reepingwhat i sewnno one wants me because what i done. So it may be a poss.that what the Lord has for me will not be ready for tomorrow. I have no family or friends that want me and my 4 kids to stay until... Also my kids 16, 13, 7 and 8 mo will be totally hurt.. I know we will just do whats ness. I accet that what ever happens its my fault.
Sorry my question is as happy and honored all the work thats happening in and out of me. I am scare, i burst into tears.. I screwed my life up. I barely have money to move.. Im scared. Does this mean i lack faith? I mean i know He will provide and we will be in a better situation. Im scared of the unknown path i must take getting there. So again is my tears and fear a sign of lack of faith

Fear is not the lack of faith just as fear is not the lack of courage rather it's what you do when your afraid that makes the difference.

It's normal to be afraid but it's in that state of worry and fear that faiths light can shine the brightest because all you have to do is say in your heart thy will be done and do your best to trust to him even if doubt begins to creep and fear tries to take hold of your heart cling to these word and hand it over to him.

I think this is an exercise of faith for you, I believe he is bringing you into this storm to help you grow in him.
I asked God once father how can I become closer to you? he replied walk through the fire with me:)

sister, you need to look into the love the Father has for you, you need to come to know Him deeply. the knowledge of the Father is found through Jesus Christ in His Gospels. and the knowledge of Him will birth His love in you, casting out all fear because you know who you are in Him. i leave this as a starting point sister.

its a foundation in God, and to knowing Him. its 4 part; knowing the Father, knowing who you are in Him, knowing there is an enemy, and finally how to worship Him(or fellowship).

all from 5 verses in Matthew.

Matthew 6:9-13King James Version (KJV)

9 After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name.
10 Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.
11 Give us this day our daily bread.
12 And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.
13 And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.

this is how it breaks down.

the Father
Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name.

10 Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.

John 14:7King James Version (KJV)

7 If ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also: and from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him.

Jesus is a clear example of the Father they bear the same name and image, look to the Gospels and see who He is, and His love for you.

1 John 3:1-2King James Version (KJV)

3 Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not.
2 Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.

when you know who He is you can start to see who you are in Him, you are His beautiful daughter. and He has done everything to reach you.

2 Corinthians 4:4King James Version (KJV)

4 In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.

the devil is the enemy.
he comes to steal, kill, and destroy. he is the father of all lies and the one that leads the lost farther from Christ, once you know him, you can resist him.

1 John 1King James Version (KJV)

1 That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, of the Word of life;
2 (For the life was manifested, and we have seen it, and bear witness, and shew unto you that eternal life, which was with the Father, and was manifested unto us;)
3 That which we have seen and heard declare we unto you, that ye also may have fellowship with us: and truly our fellowship is with the Father, and with his Son Jesus Christ.

once you see it all come together you will see the glory of God manifest in you life, you will see him move, you will walk with him in love. as He has always been he will always be with you sister. if you have a bible start with the Gospel of John ans see who He is and then go to the epistle to see who you are in Him sister.

i leave you with this.

2 Thessalonians 2:13-14King James Version (KJV)

13 But we are bound to give thanks alway to God for you, brethren beloved of the Lord, because God hath from the beginning chosen you to salvation through sanctification of the Spirit and belief of the truth:
14 Whereunto he called you by our gospel, to the obtaining of the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.

And there are plenty more. Notice not a single one indicates tears = a lack of faith. Even Job, whose faith was tested, cried. Psalms is full of tears from all sorts of suffering.

“When Jesus saw her weeping, and the Jews who had come along with her also weeping, he was deeply moved in spirit and troubled…Jesus wept” (John 11:33, 35).

“A time to weep and a time to laugh, a time to mourn and a time to dance” (Ecclesiastes 3:4).

“For his anger lasts only a moment, but his favor lasts a lifetime; weeping may stay for the night, but rejoicing comes in the morning” (Psalm 30:5).

“He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away” (Revelation 21:4).

"You keep track of all my sorrows. You have collected all my tears in your bottle. You have recorded each one in your book." (Psalm 56:8).

"I am worn out from sobbing. All night I flood my bed with weeping, drenching it with my tears." (Psalm 6:6)

"My face is flushed from weeping, And deep darkness is on my eyelids," (Job 16:16)

sometimes we have to accept the consciences of our bad choices, children and all...have been there
and done that - but I knew that I would reap what I had sown, so, no, Jesus doesn't always step right in
and make everything right...hardships, especially if we are the cause of them, everyone has to suffer for
what choices we have made...of course this doesn't always mean that they will stay the same, but we will
pay for dis-honoring our Saviour and for disobeying...end of story: are we willing and strong and faithful
enough to do the right thing that He requires of us>?

From the situation you describe, it's normal to be fearful and tearful. Courage is moving forward in the face of fear. If you read in Hebrews 11 the hall of faith, you will hear of several spiritual people who in bad situations but God brought them out. They had FAITH (forsaking all I trust Him) God is the one who holds your future, not you. He has a plan for your family. Is Jesus the center of your life? Do you believe in Him? Then you have been made "righteous". You can cast all your cares on Him as He cares for you. When you take back the cares, you will have fear as you are trying to be the God in your family. Pray as a family and be specific and get the kids involved, don't hide your mistakes, give them the good news this Christmas!
Jesus took all your sins on Him on the cross so you can be free of them and the fear they bring. Merry Christmas, AmmaBev

Remember when Peter was walking on water by faith? When he started to fear that is when he started sinking...

So, How did the move go?
When it comes to things we ask of God....let's say we ask for courage...will God simply give us courage, so we can say we are courageous?......Or is it more likely we will be placed into scary (to us) situations to exhibit our newly gifted courage to glorify Him?
We flawed humans think we know what we want or need, but truly only God knows, and He uses these times in our lives, times when we question our ways, to help us grow. It's painful to grow, but in the end our reflections more closely matches the reflection of Christ.
Peace!!

Vidi, veni, vamus.

(First two words are Latin for "I came, I saw," and the last word is bad congregating in Spanish, so it's "leave." Sorry, I don't know "I leave" in Spanish. lol)

This person came, ranted, and left all in the same day.
