I am praying to God that He can help me with the multitude of issues going on right now. I need Him to help me see clarity and help me make the right decisions. I need Him to give me direction. I'm waking up in the middle of the night with anxiety and worry and the knot in my stomach won't go away!

I'm not one of those people who usually directs people to a verse. Ends up, I'm still not one of those people. lol

But, I couldn't figure out what you were asking for, (kind of vague, so couldn't get a firm handle on it. I do understand you don't want to be specific, which is fine. I'm just like that), so I sneaked a peek into who you are. (Looked at your post so far. Yeah, I'm snoopy too, but at least I'm honest about it.)

In doing so, I'm going to answer for something you've already asked for. You wanted a starting point in your return to God. A bible study or something. I'm going to suggest a book for you. It seems to fit, since the people Paul was addressing were also lost on what to do now.

1 Corinthians. It might help to get a commentary on it. Might not. Never studied it that deeply to know. (Sermons. Lots of sermons on different parts in my background. lol) If you want the commentary too, go for it. You can get both for free on eSword.net. If you're all the way up to actually buying a commentary (and you want to do a commentary. I really don't know that part. I just kept seeing passages in 1 Cor. when I read your previous post), Tyndale is widely accepted.

Sometimes we're anxious because something is wrong, and we just can't put a finger on what it is. sometimes we're anxious because of conviction. Sometimes we're anxious because life gets complicated. And sometimes anxious is really a panic attack that popped out of nowhere, but they are just as real and just as scary, because it is a physical feeling of panic, which is the opposite of "pleasant," so we spend a lot of time fearing another one will come.

I don't know which type you're having. I suspect more than one. 1 Corinthians won't answer all of them, but it will make it clearer in your mind what God wants from you. And it will let you know God has never stopped loving you and isn't going to in the future. So it's a good starting place.

I’m so sorry to hear about your struggles. I wish I could give you a hug right now. Words seeminadequate to convey my care and concern for you. I just said a prayer for you,and I hope that God will provide the strength and help you need at this time. Iknow it’s not easy, but I do believe there is hope. Stay strong. Sending hugs& prayers your way!
