What is spiritual abuse?

spiritual abuse is destroying the TRUE image of God and replacing it with a god that is not God

This is a formal invitation for anyone who has suffered spiritual abuse or is interested in preventing spiritual abuse to join our small group forum (max size of 12 active members). We have a group covenant you must read and agree to.

Our group purpose:

This group seeks to know God better through Biblical Equipping, prayer, and living out Christ's love for one another.

This group seeks to know one another better by listening, expressing feelings, accepting others feelings, relating assertively and accepting one another (and ourselves) unconditionally.

This group seeks to equip group members to reach out with Christ's love to vistors, New group members and others outside the group

Promises we make to one another

In order to meet these goals, we will:

1. Remain a distinctively Christian group, looking to God in Scripture and through prayer for guidance and spiritual growth, and seeking to share Jesus love with one another and with others outside our group.

2. Care for one another by accepting one another unconditionally and by being available to one another during times of crisis.

3. Keep confidential whatever group members share, both during meetings and outside of meetings.

4. Pray for one another weekly. (either silently or you can post a prayer.)

We will make all attempts to be online weekly Tuesday from 6:15 to 7:45 pm EST and will post if we know ahead of time we will not be able to be online at that time.
