And yet the Bible says 28 times that God "Repented." How do you explain that if "Repenting" means having sorrow for having sinned?
God repents or feels sorrow about the decisions He has made, but as God cannot sin,
he is not repenting over sin but over a decision He has made.

Repentance is about desiring not to do something again, and to choose a different course
of action which does agree with what God is expressing 100%.

Very accurate. It has to do with a change of mind about your beliefs and actions, your decisions in life, NOT groveling in the dust and wailing about sinning.

he preaches this kind of stuff everyday and people love to hear it but none of it has anything to do with the bible or goodness at all. its all about self serving.

Actually anybody who knows anything about 'satanic' practices knows this is the foundations of the mindstate that he teaches. To create your own reality like you are your own diety.

AND LOOK AT HIS FACE! If you trust a face like that stay out of the streets and away from casinos cause you dont have a chance. If you cant call that a liars face you dont know what one looks like. Seriously.
Ok,let me write this down;

Restored marriages

Successful business

family prospering

Faith

having an enlarged vision

All are bad?
All are satanic?

Wow,we learn something everyday!!!!

Stephen,

I said some posts back that JO is different from other WOF preachers and I showed how.
So it seems like you agree with me, but the I know that you don't.

If ONLY positive thinking is taught, then it cannot be called Christianity.

However, if positive thinking includes Christ, then it would seem to me that we have victory in Christ.
Our we NOT to change?

Romans 12:2
Do not be conformed to this world.
Isn't it telling us good things? Do not smoke, do not do drugs, stay sober in all things - be Christlike. This is not positive thinking, this is us, just trying to be the best we can.

But be transformed by the renewing of your mind.
Maybe we thought lowly of ourself. Maybe with this type of preaching we could think more highly of ourselves - just highly enough to make us be encouraged and go out into the world and make something of ourselves. This is different from WOF. I believe Jesus would want us to be the best we could. Others would even admire us and say what a difference Christianity has made in our lives.

That you may prove what the will of God is, that which is good, and acceptable, and perfect.
We like to tell folk who are on welfare that they should find a job, get a nice home, do something or themselves.
Well, it's the same for all of us. We shouldn't be happy with very little. We should just do the best we can, whatever that is.
Not just sit back and do nothing. This may be called works, I don't know.

I do know that there is nothing wrong with doing our best and being encouraged to.

What are we supposed to tell a new believer? Be poor, be sick, be discouraged - and God will love you.
Or, take care of your body, it's the temple of God, don't be discouraged at home or at work and b the best you can.

I believe the latter is preferable.
God never created an alternate plan where us "doing our best" with our own works would be acceptable to Him.

I don't know who you are, but I know you're not who you say you are, nor what you say you are.

Any christian in their right mind knows fleshly works aren't acceptable to God..... never have, never will.

You sound gnostic to me.

Ooops. I like Joseph Prince too. And by some I'm considered a legalist and works person. This is confusing!!
It goes to show that no one should be put into a box.

BTW, works and righteousness are part of being Christian. I sure hope you know what righteous means.
Joseph Prince explains bible passages very well. One could learn a lot from him. He's OSAS and of the hyper grace movement.
I still like him!

Each preacher has his own way of preaching.
Does everybody like vanilla ice-cream??
But it's all ice-cream.
And that, is no surprise. Hyper-gracers always "like" other HG's posts, no matter what they say.

It's standard operating procedure for sockpuppets to do that..... but you already knew that.

somebody stated their heart was breaking regarding what they think is false teaching

frankly I feel kind of sick inside reading the hatred expressed as concern

what spirit is that of? where does that come from?
My, that's a little hateful, isn't it?

I think we've seen enough to know who you're working with.

Oh no.
Larry King again.

Maybe this thread should have been about Larry King???

I have news for you.
Jesus is NOT the only way to God/heaven.

There are other ways.
Can you think of any??
Do tell. You must be chomping at the bits.:)
