Happily married for 4 years on June 7. Any good ideas to make my wife feel appreciated and loved. Good gifts? Dates? Ideas?

First of all, congratulations. :)

Maybe take her out to dinner.

Or buy her flowers. (Or hand pick them, if you take her for a walk through a flowery area). LOL

If you have a million dollars to spare, you might write her out a check for a million dollars.

I like lady blue's idea about dinner and flowers, but instead of going out make her nice romantic dinner at home if you don't cook order a nice dinner, bring it home and light some candles share some wine or champagne, just don't forget to clean up the kitchen :p

After dinner go for a walk and maybe go home and get some dessert, if you know what I'm saying ;)

congrats! and thank you. thank you so much for this post. :)

most ladies don't want a new washing machine, though if mine were failing i'd think it a good gift! ;)

just think about what she likes. where does she like to go, and what does she like to do?

may the Lord bless you both with many more happy years.

What a sweet romantic guy your are!

I second consider you
wife's likes/loves. We all have different love languages.

Does your wife like to hear your love, write her a poem or find one online.
Can you sing? sing a love song to her.....or maybe play your favorite love song and dance with her in your own living room.

Does she like touch, give her a message with a nice aromatic oil. You could drown the bed with fresh rose petals. Or give her a message gift certificate.

Does she like cake, ice cream,
chocolates? What's her favorite restaurant? Maybe have them sing happy anniversary if she likes that type of attention.

Does she like perfume? Maybe a new outfit? A day at a beauty spa? Jewelry with something inscribed on it?

Get a baby sitter and rent a nice local motel room?

Notmyown, if I needed a new washing machine, I would love to get a new one on my anniversary. But I'm more of the practical type. A new bible or study books would be great for me too. :) But I don't think most women are. :)

Whatever you do I'm sure it will be fabulous! Happy Anniversary!!!

Yay Awesome!
Write a love letter and send it to her :) Or sing and play guitar to her before she wakes up :) Buying her flowers would be fantastic too!

May God bless you a lifetime of togetherness!!!

Congratulation!!!! Treat your wife and yourself to a relaxing day at the spa where both of you can get pampered. Then candle light dinner with a bed of roses. =)

Thank you all for your posts. She likes anything really lol. Shes more i want you and not materialistic.

But of course loves flowers, hand written cards, jewelry. Shes taking the whole week off work, and the kids are staying with their grandparents.

So the whole week will be like her momication.

I got to get creative sense we penny pinching so she can take the week off lol

Obviously any lady loves it when they dont have to cook lol. So I will cook a meal for her. I will still have to work but take 3 days off. So during them 3 days she been wanting to go kayaking.

She just does so much for us all and deserves more than I ever could give her but shes awesome because she only wants me. So blessed

Good idea she loves new clothes but also loves it when i sing and play a song i wrote for her when we was dating. I dont play it often but i know one thing. It sure stopped a lot of arguments to start singing that lol. Definitely one thing im teaching my son. If he would just learn atleast 3 chords he has a peacemaker lol

But in all seriousness thats a good idea also. I forget that old guitar in the closet lol.

Congratulations on your four year anniversary! It sounds like your wife would
appreciate a gift that is more personal, and since you both like music, why not
put together a compilation of beautiful love songs that express your love for her?

You could maybe include this one:

The Turtles - Happy Together - 1967

Imagine me and you, I do
I think about you day and night, it's only right
To think about the girl you love
And hold her tight, so happy together

If I should call you up, invest a dime
And you say you belong to me and ease my mind
Imagine how the world could be, so very fine
So happy together

I can't see me loving nobody
But you for all my life
When you're with me, baby
The skies will be blue for all my life

Me and you and you and me
No matter how they tossed the dice, it had to be
The only one for me is you and you for me
So happy together

I can't see me loving nobody
But you for all my life
When you're with me, baby
The skies will be blue for all my life

Me and you and you and me
No matter how they tossed the dice, it had to be
The only one for me is you and you for me
So happy together

Me and you and you and me
No matter how they tossed the dice, it had to be
The only one for me is you and you for me
So happy together
So happy together

How is the weather
So happy together
We're happy together
So happy together

So happy together
So happy together
So happy together

we pray that you both will sweetly and preciously lay down your heads/hearts together -
and begin to memorize your Heavenly Father's Living Word/Scriptures', they are so much
needed to strengthen/assure us, for all that is so rapidly unfolding before us,
each and every day...

I think most women appreciate just having time off from the routine -- sounds like she's getting that! Anything else you do is a plus.

Congratulations! My advice is to let her know how much you live and appreciate her every day of the year. Dinner, presents, and being there for her.
