I just don't want to fall again
care to hear "the gospel according to jaime the sappling"?

lol

thats me

im jaime

all of us deserve hell

but God was so merciful he sent Jesus to pay a price so high
it can cover any sin ever made by all men and women

when we have faith in him
its not dead faith

God sends a call to all and reveals to us that Jesus is the way
and those who accept this are given a new heart
after this
the things we once took pleasure in
now hurt us to do
and we feel conviction to turn from them

if we grow in the word and continue to follow Jesus and seek Gods will for us
this is practicing righteousness

we start to turn from sin

like swearing
vengence
masterbation
fornication
false idols

and it becomes not a burden
but a joy when we overcome sin through christ who strengthens us

i believe it is possible to walk holy as Job did

but this isnt what earns salvation
it shows our fruit

i think God preserved his Word
and the bible is meant to be taken literally

(unless its obvious hyperbole)

Does God ever stop forgiving? I want to serve the Lord and I don't want to go to hell and I want to overcome this and I am really scared that God hasn't forgiven me

you really are showing through in your words as someone who absolutely belongs to the Lord, and remember that He forgave those who crucified Him. mr mcgee is on the mark im just gonna leave you with this scripture and will be praying with you

2 corinthians 7:10 "For godly sorrow worketh repentance to salvation not to be repented of: but the sorrow of the world worketh death.

what you are expressing is Godly sorrow ! thats part of the process of salvation. God bless

My question is this when i am having a hard time and really want to give into my addiction what do i do?
First off... when you accept these thoughts and lust or go even further, don't hide from the Lord cause He knows and sees all.

He has made a way for us to be cleansed anew and fresh after we sin:

1 John 1:9
If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

Ask the Lord to teach you how to not desire this or other types of sin that trouble you:

James 1:5-7
If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.
But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed.
For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord.

2 Corinthians 10:5
Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ

God inhabits the praises of His people (Psalm 22:3), so one must learn to thank the Lord for what one receive when one got born again... His promises and His instructions

Romans 12:1,2
I declare to you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your body a living sacrifice, Holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service....and be not conformed to this world: but be transformed by the renewing of your mind (understanding, vision), that you may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

1 Corinthians 6:19, 20
Your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit which is in you, which you have of God, and you are not your own....for you are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's.

2 Corinthians 6:16,17
And what agreement has the temple of God with idols? For you are the temple of the living God; as God has said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be My people....Therefore come out from among them, and be separate, says the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you. (in the OT see: Exodus 29:45-46, Ezekiel 37:27)

The Father's purpose for creating mankind was / is to be with us, and share Himself with us!
(see: 2 Corinthians 6:16,17, Ezekiel 37:27, Leviticus 26:12, Zechariah 2:10-11, Psalms 68:17-18, Isaiah 12:6, Psalm 46:4-7, Revelations 21:3, Luke 1:68, John 1:10-14, Ephesians 2:7)

2 Corinthians 5:17-21
If any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; L00K, all things are become new.
And all things are of God, Who hath reconciled us to Himself by Jesus Christ, and has given to us the ministry of reconciliation;

2 Peter 1:3,4
According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue:
Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.

There is power in God's Word so this is simply learning to accept, speak, act, and praise the Lord that what He says about you as follower of Jesus is true for you right now, no matter how you feel.

If you mess up, use 1 John 1:9 and turn from your sin going forward. Repeat as necessary while learing to learning to accept, speak, act, and praise the Lord that what He says about you as follower of Jesus is true for you right now, no matter how you feel.

Bottom line is do not allow the devil to talk you in to thinking it's all good and it's no big deal cause living in sin is not the way to go.... repent and turn away from it and talk to the Lord about teaching you to grow in Him and little by little His promises and instructions will be the stronghold in your mind, and imagination instead of sinful behavior.

And walk with the Lord as His child... don't give in to a sinful lifestyle, but don't be stressed:

1 Peter 5:6,7
Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time:
Casting all your care upon him; for He cares for you.

Philippians 2:13
For it is God which works in you both to will and to do of His good pleasure.

Matthew 18:3
Verily I say unto you, unless you are converted, and become as little children, you shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven.

Now, go kick some satanic butt!

I am 19 years old and for the past few months i fell into a bad habit and got addicted to porn and i had gotten better but i slipped again i need help and prayer
I am so sorry you are going through this. I have been dealing with a porn addiction since I was 17 years old and I am now 33. It is a daily struggle and the only way to really breakthrough is to have accountability, in example, I told my husband and my best friend about this finally and they keep me in check. Also, make sure you stay close to God, reading the bible and praying help alot. Try to figure out what your triggers are as well. For me, whenever I was angry or really bored and alone I would find myself on my computer. Once you know your triggers stay away from those things as much as possible and try something different, for me, I will workout to keep myself busy and I will stay away from my computer if I am alone and bored. Lastly, there is a church that deal specifically with this issue and they have great resources, check out XXXchurch. They are on FB and they have a website as well, along with an app and search engine that helps keep you away from porn, it costs money, but your mental, physical and spiritual health is worth it. Good luck to you. I will keep you and all my other porn addicted sisters and brothers in Christ in my prayers.

Addiction might be the toughest hill to climb because it starts and finishes with ones self.

Im personally dealing with a alcohol addiction that is not detrimental to myself although it is detrimental to my well being in my current situation(legalities and what not).

I do what it takes WITHEN Gods advice to alleviate my addiction, and it works.

Find a support group that deals with addictions, it does not even have to be sex addiction, addiction is all the same, a cunning enemy of life; caving in to the demands of addiction is to slowly commit suicide... there should be community services available where you are, even NA which is narcotics anonymous... yes it is apparently about drugs BUT NOT REALLY... drugs are a common denominator but even more widely acknowledged is the fact that addicts deal with ADDICTION and the roots of it run deep. The twelve step programs are ALL about getting God front and center in your life... if you live in a large metropolitan area there should be LOTS of meetings you can go to, I would even suggest AA to start especially since you are looking for an accountability partner.

If you live in a metropolitan area there may be meetings you can walk to... if you can walk. What about public transportation? Go to ONE MEETING and get phone numbers and ASK FOR HELP. Meetings I attend have people desperately willing to help newcomers.

My question is this when i am having a hard time and really want to give into my addiction what do i do?
Keep looking at the spiritual mirror (the bible) and you will become more and more conscience that GOD loves you and Is looking at JESUS. You are In CHRIST and In HIM Is no darkness,as you start to understand how much GOD loves you,HIS WORD will deliver you out of that.

Paul wrote,I delight In the law of GOD after the Inward man but I see another law In my flesh warring against the law of my mind and bringing me Into captivity to the law of sin which Is In my flesh.

Who Is going to deliver me from the body of this death.

Thank GOD FOR JESUS.

JESUS said, the words that HE spoke were Spirit and they are life.

As you have received CHRIST so walk ye In HIM.

I don't want a hard heart
You haven't got one.

The very fact you hate what you are doing is evidence.

I think I would ask what is driving this addiction.

When we can get to the root of the problem then we can deal with the problem

I think a big part of what was driving my addiction was rejection and loneliness
