i battled with this one for awhile myself
im sure i was involved with it even longer than you
just know
you can be delivered from it
just have to pray right when the temptation strikes
hold your thoughts captive
right when youre starting to let you mind go to the wicked thoughts
cry to Jesus to give you the holy spirit and turn from it
think of Jesus dying for you
think of hell fire for the wicked
wether its love or fear that helps you
its good youre wise enough to know this is wrong
it shows God gave you a new heart
youre much further than i was at 19 God bless you
maybe if you have time post a testimony so we can get to know you

It's not an easy way out to some...what I can say regarding this habit is...stay away from anything (movies,magazines,music,people)
1 Corinthians 6:18-19 Flee sexual immorality. Every sin that a man does is outside the body,but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body. 19 Or do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit that is in you, whom you have from GOD and you are not your own.
Confess to Jesus and pray hard and when temptations are there Call upon the name of the Lord Jesus Christ pray for an escape!

well please dont feel like im being harsh here
but when you choose to give into temptation you have the power not to
its not like an accidental fall
its a series of events
what happens first
is temptation in the form of memories AND imaginations attack you
at this point you have a choice
to hold the memories and imaginations captive
this is the first battle and if you dont go further then you stopped the temptation before you sinned
buuut
if it goes further
now you have fantasy
day dreams
lust
at this point you desire to do something about your feelings
seek a partner for fornication
watch porn
or masterbate
now you have a choice to repent of your sins that you just made in your heart but not in body
you havent yet put the evil in front of your eyes
if it makes it this far... its really tough not to go further
because you just hardened yourself to the spirit by not holding your thought captive
but at this point be drastic
turn your computer off
turn your phone off
go for a walk
if you cant focus on a prayer
then just apoligies
focus on what you have done wrong that day
ask for forgiveness and deliverance
over and over until you know you wont go further
now....
if you didnt stop there
and let yourself go all the way
and feel a contrite heart
that means the holy spirit wants you to repent...
and turn from what you did
and God is still willing to forgive you in Jesus name
but there are those who become reprobate....
there are those who no longer have that heart
that wants to seek God

sometimes i feel the same way ... assurance is a gift
a gift that comes the more the holy spirit provides good works in you...
which isnt YOU earning anything
its God working in you
all i can say
is your mourning contrite heart
is a major flag
you have Hope
and desire God
but that can turn to Joy
when you actually follow Jesus
