dear Lord please touch me I'm so sad and heartbroken I don't want to be this way! here I woke up very early on a Saturday and now it's one o'clock in the the afternoon and I haven't been able to get out of bed.... please lift me up, give me strength and courage.. Give Me Back My Hope!!!! Lord I don't want to lose hope, please wash over Donnie, wrap a fiery hedge around him, heal him of his drug addiction, get him away from that drug environment and those unchristian people! give him the knowledge that we love him unconditional and we forgive and Lord let him remember his son and myself and let him come back home to us now!!+! thank you for hearing my prayer and in Jesus name Lord please answer this prayer. amen

Dear Father in heaven, I ask and pray that you will reveal every door that may be open to this dear sister and her family to the influence of the evil one, father I ask that you remind her of who she really is in you, and that she see that the every promise given to the heirs of Salvation are surely hers, I ask that you (through your word and Spirit) help her to see her true identity, that she is a daughter of the KING! and no attempt of the evil one to bring despair to her heart and mind, I pray that You remind her that the enemy of our souls is a defeated enemy and that his kingdom of darkness is based only on lies, help her I pray to see the truth, You are the truth, give her heart the assurance of the truth revealed in your word and give her strength as she trusts in you, help her to keep her eyes on you and not her circumstances... in the Name of your beloved son and our Savior Amen...

Deb, just so you know. Some of us do remember what you're going through and really are praying.

It might help if you got outside that loop in your head though, and actually participate more on this site. Get to know people. Gain some friends. Join conversations. Find out who you don't ever want as friends. First it gets you out of that loop you're stuck on, and second we get to know who you are more so we will continue to remember Donnie and your son. And third, you might actually be able to take a breath long enough to notice people telling you that hope in a person is wasted hope. The only true hope is God. The rest of us? sometimes we're worth hoping in and sometimes we should never have been hoped in. Not saying Donnie is hopeless. But your situation is hopeless until you understand your hope has to be in God, not your husband!

Spouses -- guaranteed to let us down sooner or later. God -- guaranteed to never let us down.
