Job 40 describes Behemouth which is believed to be a dinosaur.. It had a tail as big as a Cedar which is a tree..
Job 40:
15 "¶ Behold now behemoth, which I made with thee; he eateth grass as an ox. {16} Lo now, his strength is in his loins, and his force is in the navel of his belly. {17} He moveth his tail like a cedar: the sinews of his stones are wrapped together. {18} His bones are as strong pieces of brass; his bones are like bars of iron. {19} He is the chief of the ways of God: he that made him can make his sword to approach unto him. {20} Surely the mountains bring him forth food, where all the beasts of the field play. {21} He lieth under the shady trees, in the covert of the reed, and fens. {22} The shady trees cover him with their shadow; the willows of the brook compass him about. {23} Behold, he drinketh up a river, and hasteth not: he trusteth that he can draw up Jordan into his mouth. {24} He taketh it with his eyes: his nose pierceth through snares."
And God has alwys existed.. He is from eternal to eternal He was never created.. He has always been..

The Internet is your friend. I am not exactly the best person in the world to ask about these kinds of things, but being an Internet junkie myself, I can say that Christian websites really helped to pull me out of my dark, edgy agnostic deist state a year ago. So I suggest you do something similar to what I did (Try showing him the websites).

Scripture explicitly states that Jesus is God in the first chapter of the gospel of John. Have you read it? There are many other verses that are accepted as contributing to the understanding of this fact.

The Word which is God took on flesh and dwelt among us. How else is one to understand that? People who say that Scripture never says that Jesus is God simply make plain the fact that they are blind to the Truth of God's revealed written Word.

The Word which is God took on flesh and dwelt among us. How else is one to understand that? People who say that Scripture never says that Jesus is God simply make plain the fact that they are blind to the Truth of God's revealed written Word.
Jesus also said that everything He said and did was for our benefit. Why then did He pray to God? To show us how. The problem is two fold: you seem to have no Biblical knowledge, and your son is not really looking for reasons to believe but rather reasons not to, to fend off or reject belief in God. What kind of example have you been to him?
Nobody created God. He is eternally self existent. If you don't believe that you you are forced to accept that either the universe is eternally self existent, or that nothing exploded at some point, out of which everything sprang, and then organic life come from inorganic matter, and order came from chaos, and consciousness, and all of life, is meaningless, a cosmic accident, that has no inherent meaning or purpose. That seems to be what your son wants to believe. Nihilism at its best. But who can blame him? If he has no framework within which to formulate basic beliefs about God, he is without a proper foundation, and ask silly illogical questions like, can God create a rock too heavy for Him to lift? So he can say, then He is not all powerful.

Sometimes it helps t ask a person to go as far back in theknowledge made by mankind and explain where everything that is came from.
He may leap back to the central mass of energy that exploded beginning the big boom or big bang theory thinking. This is also referred to as the expanding universe. Ask the person where the original mass of energy came from.
If he responds from nothing, then ask him to imagine nothing.

If you read the Bible all the way through, you'd be qualified to answer some of these questions. We have our different opinions on this, but I believe Jesus was God in flesh (Matthew 1:23). As for the dinosaurs, there would be different opinions about that, also, but perhaps the Lord saw no reason to mention them. The Bible doesn't say anything about a lot of animals. God is our creator. He is motivated only by love and is all-knowing and all-powerful. I do not know how God came into existence.
