Hello Christian friends.

I need to give God and my family a New Year's Gift: my purity.

I have just given myself over to adult entertainment on the internet in regards to videos and also talking to people online about evil things. No further details need to be given other than a brother in Christ, myself (at least I hope I know Him as personal Savior) needs to go cold turkey tonight to promise not to go back to these evil things.

My problem is, however, that it creates a void for fellowship. At the church I go to, it is difficult to have this fellowship because we are such a small church and there is no one my age.

So I'm asking first of all for prayers and advice and friendship, even if it's from virtual friends. If you are male, feel free to PM me. If you're female, feel free to relate to me in a friendship way on the this thread or other public forum so there is always accountability from other Christian believers.

Thank you again for your prayers. Peter James

Ummmm? Errrr? You just said you can only relate to people your own age. Doesn't that kill off most available friendships? (This site makes me feel so old way too often. lol)

Let me give you the oversimplified answer. Read your bible and you will lose your appetite for sin. If you know Jesus as your Savior then read your bible to honor Him. Jesus never leaves nor forsakes those that are His but Jesus is grieved when His children transgress and indulge evil.
