My dad cheated on my mom and she divorced him. I live with her.
That's a horrible thing that your dad did to your mom. Cheating on a spouse ruins a marriage and destroys a family.

And I say unto you, Whosoever shall put away his wife, except it be for fornication, and shall marry another, committeth adultery: and whoso marrieth her which is put away doth commit adultery.
did you read it?
Except. That's the clause in the statement. If they put them away for committing fornication, if they remarry, they are not committing adultery.

Hi there! Your post really helped me a lot last week. And because you’re a man your perspective helps. How do I best be a good wife to a man who’s telling me he’s trying to change? How do I support him?
don't do Jesus wrong just because someone did you wrong ,don't let the world change your heart you just do your part and obey God that's why I say only people like you can stay faithful because ya are so strong .....and they say the hulk doesn't exist and here I am chatting with a female hulk.....don't forgot to let God be God

if someone 'claims' to be a 'christian', and 'cheats' on their wife/spouse, well, here is where 'common-sense'
comes in - NO CHRISTIAN would ever even contemplate CHEATING on their spouse,./.
no play ground here...if one claims to have the indwelling of The Holy Spirit, does anyone truly
believe that The Holy Spirit would put up with such a thing?!? (allow such behavior?!?!?)

if anyone believes this, then they better start to do some real READING and have the courage
to look inside of themselves and accept what is really living there...

well that's the thing everyone claims to be a Christian but don't even know who christ is and what he stood for when he came to earth to lead by example....everyone has been taught to go to church, give your money to the leaders, go to school and get a good paying job but don't listen to the word of God(Jesus) oh no certainly don't do that ...so why do we see this woman's husband's wrongs but can't see our own wrong doing....always refer back to Christ and not anyone else unless they are pointing to the christ.....as far as her husband let who is without a sin throw the first rock

I don't really think that she should throw rocks at her husband even though he has it coming.
she's not throwing rocks but everyone else is(so called Christians)....what do you have coming?
