Why do I do The things that I do
When i regret them every time
When will I learn and change my ways
I am so sorry for what I've become
So sorry for the wrongs that I've done
I'm so sorry for being that way
I want to change and live better
Should I awake tomorrow
I will pray and seek God's grace
I will confess my faith
And my sin and pray and repent
I will thank God for another chance
I will ask for wisdom and strength
I will ask for healing in Jesus name
I will do only this from now on.
This is my word and the right thing to do
Forgive me Lord I want to change
Let this never happen again I pray
In Jesus name
Amen.

Perhaps if you prayed and ask why you did those things, you could start tearing down the spiritual strongholds in your mind that war against God's wisdom?

Often we build these fortresses and bad habits to cope with fear or anger at people or situations that we don't want to face. Sometimes we just don't want to feel helpless.

I don't know your situation but will join you in prayer.

I have struggled with addiction for many many years. This year that power of addiction has been broken in my life, Praise Jehovah! The difference? I've always been faithful; salvation was never the issue. However, this year the fire of the Holy Spirit has been re-ignited in my life. I'm seeking Him! I want more of Him! I can't wait to get to YouTube and watch another sermon. I can't wait to find a private place to pray, I sing praises in my car, I speak truth to my children, I evangelize to my clients--I can't help it! Now that I'm truly seeking FIRST his Kingdom and righteousness, addiction has no place in my life. The darkness flees from the light! It's not even hard.

This year I truly understand that not by MY power, but by HIS power we are set free! Glory to God!

Also, I suggest looking into "The Courts of Heaven." There are a lot of prophets saying that this year God is going to repay the injustice of the righteous. The Devil has been wrongly stealing, killing, and destroying us. NO LONGER! Make a claim in the Courts of Heaven against the devil. The price has been paid through Jesus blood, and the devil has no authority to harm you any more! The judge will hear your case and rule in your favor, (the judge is, after all, your Father!)

Be blessed!

For we know that the law is spiritual, but I am carnal, sold under sin. For what I am doing, I do not understand. For what I will to do, that I do not practice; but what I hate, that I do. If, then, I do what I will not to do, I agree with the law that it is good. But now, it is no longer I who do it, but sin that dwells in me. For I know that in me (that is, in my flesh) nothing good dwells; for to will is present with me, but how to perform what is good I do not find. For the good that I will to do, I do not do; but the evil I will not to do, that I practice. Now if I do what I will not to do, it is no longer I who do it, but sin that dwells in me.
Romans 7:14-20
