This is Maria from India. I have been jobless since 6mnths and have my bills pending from January. Today is the due date to pay all debts and I am believing for supernatural intervention that our Good God will miraculously meet my needs and make me debt free. Open doors for a bright future in His divine Presence. Amen. Please pray in agreement with me. God Bless all of you. You are my #bro #sisters. Love you all

I've been in the same situation before. It would have been better had you started worrying about this sooner, rather than on the day you need the money, but start making phone calls to family and friends. Ask for money. Don't ask for all of it from any one person. Keep asking everyone for as much as they can afford at the moment.

And then go to them and pick up the money.

It won't be enough, but hopefully it will be some.

Then contact all you owe, and tell them the truth -- you can't pay it all, but you will pay some now. Most companies, (at least in America), are willing to work with customers. As long as they can get X amount, plus a promise of what you will do in the future to catch up, they won't shut you off today. (They will shut you off soon though.)

You're really going to have to scramble to make it through today.

Waiting until the last minute and then counting on God for a miracle was a bad idea. He does do miracles, but they're called "miracles" for a reason. They're called miracles because they don't happen all the time. It's outside of nature to get one, and God has set up nature that if we work with what we have, and don't wait until the last minute before asking, he will help it work out.

God's good will really will happen, even today, but you're going to have to wake up and realize just because you are willing him to do what you want him to do, doesn't mean you can our will God.

If you are a believer, he will teach you and train you even through this. If you are not, you will surely want to repent and start trusting in him. At this point in time, you have nothing left to lose. Which is exactly where he wanted you to be at this point in time.

And no God will not pay your debts
Actually, God did remove some of our debt, and helped us find ways to keep living on little until everything settled out. This included filing for bankruptcy (before we ran out of all money), getting a foreclosure on our house, and then getting a government loan, that then became our second mortgage.

It's 15 years later, and we paid off the rest of that second mortgage just two years ago, when God provided us a bulk of money.

Ed and gang did a major fix-up job on our home. I'm talking about what happened to us at the beginning of this century. If the Lord didn't give the right info at the right time after we got the foreclosure, we would be living in our car for a year after losing the house.

Both times were major "Whoa, Lord! Thank you so much" though.

Dear Maria,

I am pretty much astonished by the situation you finding yourself in.

I have learnt over the years to value money. Over the past three years, I had to be very disciplined in the manner I spend my salary. I got myself into such predicament because of my own foolish to borrow family and I had to struggle. But God was faithful towards me.

I agree fully with Demi777, you cannot expect God to instantly pay off your debt. It may have taken you many years to indebt yourself and what will you learn at the end of the day. Nothing is impossible with God. My advice would be to be patience in trials.

God wants to teach us that possessions and people does not make us happy. I experienced that God had placed many obstacles in my way to stop me from buying certain things that I wanted. And when I had saved enough for that particular item, then someone else would have a need and than I rather help the other person.

And we are stewards of God's possession. Let us be careful how we spend God's money and our time.

She was unemployed for 6 months. Do you know anyone who has enough saved to live on no income for six months? It's possible you do, but then again they aren't the people worried about losing everything today. She really did say what the problem is. This isn't a case of spending unwisely. It's a case of having nothing to spend -- wisely, unwisely, or otherwise.

"Apply the Cross to the Problem"

2 Kings 6:1-7 King James Version (KJV)

6 And the sons of the prophets said unto Elisha, Behold now, the place where we dwell with thee is too strait for us.

[SUP]2 [/SUP]Let us go, we pray thee, unto Jordan, and take thence every man a beam, and let us make us a place there, where we may dwell. And he answered, Go ye.

[SUP]3 [/SUP]And one said, Be content, I pray thee, and go with thy servants. And he answered, I will go.

[SUP]4 [/SUP]So he went with them. And when they came to Jordan, they cut down wood.

[SUP]5 [/SUP]But as one was felling a beam, the axe head fell into the water: and he cried, and said, Alas, master! for it was borrowed.

[SUP]6 [/SUP]And the man of God said, Where fell it? And he shewed him the place. And he cut down a stick, and cast it in thither; and the iron did swim. ("The sick," no matter how crude, was symbolic of the Cross of Jesus Christ. We learn from this the tremendous lesson of the Power of Calvary. Every single blessing received by the Child of God comes through Calvary. Elisha applied the Cross to the problem. Regrettably, most in the modern Church have set the Cross aside, resorting to other things, which only bring death.)

[SUP]7 [/SUP]Therefore said he, Take it up to thee. And he put out his hand, and took it. (The Cross is a Finished Work. Consequently, all the Believer has to do is simply stretch out his hand and take it. All that the Cross represents is ours for the asking.)

I stand in agreement with you, 1itt13ic3. I have heard stories about God cancelling debt. He is a God who can do anything. He is who can do all things. I pray that during your season of waiting on him that you will not begin to doubt his power. I want you to keep the faith and watch how God moves in your life. And most importantly obey him at all times. He will not withhold anything that you ask of him. :)

All I am emphasizing is the fact we should live within our means. And try to minimize our debt, if in the unfortunate event of losing our jobs.

LUKE 12:42.
And The Lord said, Who then is that faithful and wise steward,
whom His Lord shall make ruler over His household,
to give them their portion of meat in due season?

Huh? Have you thought that through sister? :)He made money come out of a fishes mouth to pay taxes. He says don't worry about temporal provision but seek the kingdom of God first and these things will be added to you.
