Ahhh, geesh!

I got this out to kill the messenger.

Now what do I do with it if I can't kill the messenger?

I just love your emojis! A picture is worth a thousand words. It helps to express your intent because print can be interpreted according to the reader's mood or background.

I am tech challenged, and don't know how to access those things. I put up the colon and half a bracket and magically a face appears in the post. I can't figure it out. LOL

I'm technically-challenged too, so I use sherv.net, then copy-paste.

I don't know how to copy and paste from my tablet. I went to the sight, but no luck dragging one of those little emojis back here. Tee Hee, I give up. I guess I should be happy with a smile or frown. :)

Lighthearted,

I seldom post anymore - just come here to read. imho this can be a very hostile place and if I don't have a strong burning desire to say something, I'll stay silent. Just a couple of thoughts to add,

The wise man speaks because he has something to say - the fool because he has to say something.

A friend listens to what you say and hears what you mean. An enemy listens and twists what you say
to fit their own agenda.

Take care.

Memes are what we base our votes on these days. That and catchy sound bites. People are up in arms about Facebook giving away data to help sway the election. What they ought to be up in arms about is the fact that so many are swayed by memes and catchy sound bites instead of actual facts.

Back to the op, there are a couple issues at play here. Number one is that too many are here to teach and not learn. They talk at you, not with you. Second is that we read not to absorb information but to foment a response. That's why I seldom use scripture. Scripture is to be considered. But too many here just use them for target practice. I have too much respect for God's word to constantly use them as clay pigeons for others to destroy.

Truth is only available to those who are willing to question what they think they know. And it's hard to learn anything when you feel you have to be the expert all of the time.

So much for not being tech savvy. I don't know how to use anything without a mouse and wire. lol

I'm posting this in the Christian Family Forum because that's what we're supposed to be!
A loving Christ-like family!

God is calling us to show love and compassion to one another as brothers and sisters and to let His light shine so that non- believers may see.

Judgement is the Lord's.

It breaks my heart every time I see the way we treat one another...and I ask myself, how does it make Jesus feel...if it makes me sad?

The Lord wants to use this site, He wants to use each and everyone of us here to sew seeds... as He prepares to harvest globally like never seen before. The time grows nearer.

He wants us all to remember that.
Hi Lighthearted, the last two threads I read provoked the same thoughts. Thank you for saying something. Sadly the forums will probably not change. But hopefully people can read what you wrote and realize not all contributors agree with the way things are addressed on the forums. Thanks for speaking up!

We're hoping, no? If we post something, do we not hope it gets read? Why? We know it will help someone, no? But is that why? If we read a post... Well, why? Cause we want to, or not. When we read, are we also not hoping? And in our hoping and reading, do we not already know the one who posted it is hoping it is read? They either want something from someone... friendship, etc or ... They're giving to someone or many what is wanted... And needed... Providing, no? Can't provide water to whom will not drink it. Drink it... Live. Don't... Thirst. We know that much. Drink then live, live then see and hear your family and friends.. Then remember what they said and did.... Know what they said and did

Well, usually with anything Christians get their hands on were suppose to use it for His glory and purpose (work, friends, websites, blogs, chats etc).

Now, that's not to say you cant enjoy these things, but when it comes to doing the work of the Lord when opportunities come around, we need to be ready
