Another mundane day for me. Get up, fix the kids breakfast, have my usual energy drink, and back to packing. Moving to our new house this weekend. Just me, my three beautiful children, the fourth one still waiting to come out, and the dog. Oh how life changes and doesn't go the way you plan.

That is so true. I'm trying, but off to a rocky start. I don't have a real-life role model nor did I ever have one that could teach me about the way things should go. Any pointers would be extremely appreciated.

First, remeber that you are not called to places or ministries or jobs or even relationships. You are called to God and sent to those things. God must be the axle of your life and everything else that you do must radiate from Him.

You seem to have such a strong relationship with Christ and a maturity and faith that I strive to have. Sometimes, I feel like there is something like a wall in my way. Is this normal? Did you ever feel this block or void? And if so, how did you handle it? I have gotten into my Bible even harder and more dedicated than before. I had a couple of dreams about the book of Matthew and the man in my dream told me that I would find the comfort and love that I am seeking in the book of Matthew. So, I figured it couldn't hurt to start there.

When I was 24 it felt like I was a blind man in a maze. The word of God coupled with intimacy with God and the support of trusted brothers and sister in the Lord is my guide. Sometimes, even now I am like a man in a boat in a storm. I just have to remember that Jesus is in the boat with me.
