why can't she just put the baby up for adoption? It's not like she has to stop her life; there are plenty people who would love a baby.

You seem to think that that decision would be quick and easy. It may sound easy, but its not.

I know its not quick and easy. I was adopted it took my parents 2 years to be able to get me and that was a difficult situation. It's hard, but if she doesn't want the baby that's what she should do.

Unless I'm misunderstanding, the original poster of this thread and/or her son are saying they would care for the child.

oh okay gotcha :) At his age I'd think it would be better to put the baby up for adoption; he's what 16?

He's a teen, but his parents are willing to help him. My older sister gave birth to a child at the age of 16 and our family helped raise her. She's a beautiful married christian young lady with three children of her own now.

Of course, I have nothing against adoption, as I was adopted by my stepfather, and he was awesome...more loving that EITHER of my natural parents. There are so many people out there whose hearts ache for a child to love.

The most important thing is that the child 1) not be killed and 2) be raised by a loving family in a godly home, right? :)

i would tell her mom because she might be making the worse mistake in her life and at 16 your are not considered an adult. her mother should know that she is getting ready to end the pregancy. i would just pray for God to interven in her dession that she would choose adoption or even keeping the baby.

i will pray for her and for you to have peace at mind.
God bless!
