I Chronicles 28:9

"And you, my son Solomon, acknowledge the GOD of your father, and serve him with wholehearted devotion and with a willing mind, for the LORD searches every heart and understands every motive behind the thoughts. If you seek him, he will be found by you; but if you forsake him, he will reject you forever."

The advice King David gave his son, Solomon, who had the gift of wisdom.

I can't imagine better advice to give to a child, so I'm posting this for their consideration. :)

God bless! <3

More good advice for a child:

For the godless are full of resentment. Even when he punishes them, they refuse to cry out to him for help. They die when they are young, after wasting their lives in immoral living.

Job 36:13-14 NLT

Wisdom is a force. It makes you do what you should do, speak what you ought and to be an outstanding fellow. For us Christ has be made unto us wisdom. We're the children of wisdom. We speak wisdom but not that of men which comes to nothing but of divine counsel streaming from Christ the lord. Thanks

Good verse. Notice it says "but if you forsake him, he will reject you forever." If you read about the life of Solomon, you see that at the end of his life, it says that Solomon did forsake the Lord and turned to idolatry. Unfortunately Solomon did not make it to heaven.

Here's one for little girls:

"Your desire will be for your husband, and he will rule over you." Genesis 3:16

That should keep them from wanting to marry too soon ;)
