Hello,I am new to this site.I would like to share a little bit about myself.I am a former non-believer,I turned my back on God because of sexual abuse that came from church members when I was 15.I became a alcoholic and drug addict and really didn't care If I died or not.
I met my wife(I call her heaven sent) in 1986 and she somehow got me off my addictions.We had two kids and raised them in a church environment.During this time I was leading a double life,while at home with family I was the model father,mostly because I didn't want my kids hating me like I did my father for leaving after I was born.He told my mother he didn't want me.While away from family I did things Christians don't do.
My life changed in Nov.08 after I was involved in an accident.I felt an urge to begin reading the Bible,and I started experiencing feelings I never did before.My oldest daughter invited me to church and I have been going since then.I have been saved and baptized and am now looking to take classes for Christian counseling.I would tell anyone that does not think God exists to contact me,I can change their mind.
