hi everyone , just making it clear i dont have children , just wanted to know ur views and they are interesting . i know Christian teens who feel much peer pressure and cant stand it so they end up conforming to the world (its not difficult to find one) , but its also true what someone else that a godly child can be light in a secular environment . i never really heard about Christian schools... catholic ones perhaps , but just with the title , no doctrine. still i find homeschooling the safest for children, we as adults have to be constantly watchful not to be lured and caught by the world , with children thats much easier to happen.

Newsflash! All things you are afraid of in public schools are in the Christian schools....... Yet, its a personal choice. I personally prefer the wheats to grow with the tares....I want my kids to grow up standing for up Christ. With God's help I hope to achieve that.

But I know persons who homeschooled their children and the children were well adjusted, while others, well....
I know persons who go to public school and were very strong in their relationship with God while others struggled
I know persons who went to chiristian schools some came out with the light and others just went dark

There really isn't any generic way to do it....But to trust God for your life and how He guides you to raise your kids

Public schools seek to indoctrinate with a curriculum, set of values, and worldview vastly different than Christianity's. Many a young person who was not closely and properly loved, engaged with, educated, and supervised by parents at home has found a very different alternative "family" and "worldview" through the public schools by the time they are in their late teens.

It depends on the child in my opinion. If the child is extremely motivated and has parents teach him or her good values (along with the church), he or she should do fine. I went to public school and I turned out really well.

I also think that many people probably could not afford enrolling their child in a private school, so that should also be taken into consideration.

I was in public school and I'm not dealing coke or worshiping the Devil... Try learning something before believing what your pastor tells you.

TDWP22 seriously why are you so mad at the thread she started is it because you see her as weak or inferior and so far as the public education system goes its a wonder any of the kids get educated today but it is intrinsicaly tied to the social structure that has evolved around it for the last 100 years used to be you said the lords prayer and sang the national anthem of your country when I was growing up and now we do neither and I wouldnt be surprised if 40% americans could recite their own pledge of allegiance alone when asked this is a great forum man and I see that your a senior member thought I would expect a little better from a christian

I agree. You cannot and should not isolate children from normal interactions. If you do, then they will grow up withdrawn and dependent on instruction from others.

I went to a public school for both primary and highschool (Year 1-12 In Aussie) I feel its a blessing going to a 'secular' 'worldly' school so you know how to get on with not just Christians all the time. Kids need to hang out with different people. Sure i hated that in high school we got 30 minutes of Religion A YEAR ! If you make your kids do just christian stuff 24/7 when theyre growing up i for sure dont see how they will take the REAL WORLD.
