Ok so here's the deal. My family and i would looooooooove to go the VIRGINIA BEACH. I'm in love with that place ^.^

But as you all know, big families need cheaper hotel prices..unless you have like bajillions of money..( then you should make a donation to us ^.^) lol jk

So my only concern right now is helping my mom with the bill. We would like to stay there for a week.

So i'm considering working...but then again i'm considering going to my daddy in heaven and asking Him for some mulah ( not trying to be vain, it's just that we all need some help from God now and then ya know?).

Any ideas? Should i take the job? Sell some old toys/ purses?

Feel free to express your opinions :] Oh and yes we are praying to God that insurance discounts will help out tremendously.

You mentioned having a big family... could you pool together and have a fairly good-sized rummage sale? And everyone contributes all or part of the sales for the trip?

Hi Pinkstix56, I find it hard sometimes to give good advice on here, cuz no matter what is told on a post, we others never really know the fullness of any given situation, but I will say that Seoulsearch has a good suggestion in the rummage sale....also, at 18 it wouldnt be unwise to get a job as well. Just be sure that when applying, and/or when you get the job, and as the family makes plans for their week away, you give plenty of time to your employer(s) for when you will be gone and a day when you will be ready to return to work. As I say, I haven't any idea what your plans are for school (college??) etc, but 18 is a young adult, ready for the work force...even if only part time during school.... I wish you the best, and will pray this works out as a blessing in more ways than one..hope you get to enjoy a vacation with your family soon!!!
