Other than a few recipes in the Heavenly Recipes forum, I have never started a thread in here before (actually, I guess I am better at STOPPING the thread!!! hahhaha jk) but I found these little sayings, or quotes, or whatever, and thought to share em....some are fun, and some are reflective and a couple of them just seem appropriate with the way we should handle ourselves in the forums (and the chat rooms)......


-- Let some things remain mysterious.
--Pay as much attention (or more!!) to the things working positively in your life, as you do to those that are giving you trouble.
--Don't let weeds grow around your dreams.
--Learn three knock-knock jokes so you will be ready to entertain chldren.
--Remember that everyone you meet is afraid of something, loves something, and has lost something.
--Regardless of the situation--React with class.

Hope you got something from reading these!! I did.

nanabean, thanks but had to read the last one several times. I'm a teacher and so "react with class" to me didn't seem such a good idea... lol ;-)

Nanabean, One other saying you could add is: Don't cry because it's over. Smile because it happened. Or this one: Nobody can make you feel bad without your permission. Both work for me.

thank you Grace. My dad had lots of sayings that he passed on to us when we were growing up. I've also picked up some on my own through the years.

Thanks Nana, react with class was very good. Teacher not knowing what class meant scared me. All the sayings were nice. I don't know knock knock jokes though. peace

Loveschild ... ;D ... I understood class = 2 meanings. One - "classy"/grace-style class, or two - a group of unruly kids. Maybe this is just teacher humor. Whatever! lol :)
