well the only thing I can think of if you and your husband cant come to an agreement is have two seperate parties ... so you and your christian friends can be comfortable and so your husband can stil havel the type of party that him and his family would like to have... so that there is no conflict on such an important day...God bless you ...hope all goes well !!

Two things: 1) why is it necessary to have alcohol at a 2-yr-olds party. That seems a but ridiculous. There's absolutely NO reason to have alcohol at a toddlers party. It's inappropriate. Tell them no alcohol or no invite.
2) if your Christian friends are truly good friends they will not be offended at what the other people and if they are they will not blame it on you. So you may just assume they will feel that way because you are ashamed of how they act. Tell them what they may expect. Let them choose to come or not. |

The description of the party indicates that is more for adults than a two year old.... but that is normal among worldly folk.
Nothing wrong with people drinking beer/ wine etc... but music not appropriate for your parents is not appropriate for your daughter either. Try to explain to your mother-in law that you do not wish for your daughter to be exposed to music not intended for her etc... I know you will not be popular... Let your folks know in advance what expect, and let them decide for themselves. |
