I almost married my best friend. Unfortunately things didn't work out and we didn't. I think we go really well together as friends, but as a couple, I'm not sure. I still love him and wish things had worked out between us. We're still friends, so it's not like I've lost him completely.

I can't say that my husband and I were best friends when we got married but we are definitely best friends now, no one else on earth knows me as well as he does.

I don't think you have to be best friends before you get married, but the potential definitely has to be there.

Nope, didnt marry my best friend, but after 14 years, hes seen me at my worst, my best, watched me grow and has grown with me, and I can honestly say, hes my best friend, I can tell him anything and know he will be honest and want whats best. I do have to pray for more love, cause if I prayed for strength, i just might choke him out sometimes....JOKE........it had to be love for him to put up with me.

Yes I did, I met my hubby at age sixteen. We were friends for 5 years when I realized that I might lose him. I and he also came to the realization that we could not see our lives without each other. We also saw that we wanted to got through life with each other. We married 6 months later and have been married for 28 yrs this year. Some bad and many good and happily. God bless, pickles
