I understand we don't have to earn God's love, that is His gift of grace by which we are saved and loved because we are not perfect. Where I need help is in understanding how we do everything for His glory. I mean, I do things all day for others, because my job requires it, my kids need it, etc., but I don't know that I am doing things FOR His glory. What does it mean to do things for the glory of God. I love God and praise Him throughout my day. I thank Him for sunshine, a favorite song on the radio, my kids getting to school safely, a client's surgery going well. I pray for people in need all day. Can someone define what it is to do things for God's Glory or in Jesus' name for me? Thank you and God BLess you and yours,

I think it just means having a general thankful attitude. Have a bad customer at work, but keep your patience, treat them right, that could be considered working to the glory of God. Things like that. Just always trying to do whats right, with people, when alone, and being thankful.

Or if you have an area you struggle in, you can always stop yourself before reacting, remind yourself that you won't to glorify God in how you act, and ask yourself how you can handle the situation that you know God would expect of you. Or finding scriptures even, such as if you have trouble with patience, finding scriptures on being patient and quoting them when situations arise.

If Jesus was your boss (and He is), but say He was your boss at your place of employment,
how would you work differently? You are to work as if He were there and you were working for
Him. That is how you work for His glory. And everything else you do, He is still your Boss, and
you are working for Him. Raising kids, is a job given by the Lord, to do for Him.
