I need to find a Church Ministry that helps Prostitutes in Cali! Please help!

My Cousin, her name is Rachel(she's 19), had a baby boy about a year ago, his name is Traevon. Since having her baby she moved to California and got mixed up with the wrong people. She is now a drug addict and a prostitute. Her pimp was abusing the little boy as well as using Rachel for terrible things. Rachel's sister, Sara(17), has since also moved to California and was able to somehow steal the baby from the pimp's custody and is now safe and taking care of him. Rachel is still very wrapped up in this prostitution mess. She's confused and thinks she likes life the way it is..and has been arrested numerous times for leading such a life. What I need to know is if YOU know any church ministries in and around Modesto, California that could help get my cousin off the street? We believe if she had someone show her love and remind her how much God loves her that she could make a pretty clean recovery. We could realllllly use your advice/help! I really wish her parents were in the picture but her mom is a drunk and hasnt really taken care of the girls for the past few years...and i have no idea about their dad. My mom would love to go out to California and bring her back herself, but she hardly has enough money these days to take care of my sister and her...and a trip from Ohio to California would be QUITE expensive. Pleaseeeeeeeee if you know a ministry let me know a.s.a.p. or if you know someone who might know, please ask them. Thank you so much for your help! God bless!

Have you called any of the churches in Modesto for suggestions? It looks like there are at least six churches there and I think they would probably be able to direct you to a program that could help.

I, unfortunately, know no one in California. But, I can help you with finding info on the internet.

I don't know if this would be helpful, but there is also a ministry called Triple X church and from my understanding, it's for people addicted to and/or working in the sex industry. I'm not familiar with the specifics, as I just heard the name mentioned by the pastor my parent's church a few weeks ago, but if nothing else, maybe they can provide some additional resources.

Well, it turns out someone convinced her to come back to Ohio. So hopefully she's got her head on straight and will get a second chance. thanks to all of you who helped :)

Maybe you'll be able to touch her life more now that she's escaped the negative lifestyle she was surrounded with in California.

I sent some prayers her way.

i know the perfect church! Victory Outreach in Modesto or anywhere else in Nor Cal. They specialize with gang members, prostitutes, ex-addict..etc.
