I'm feeling a little bit lost right now and I don't know where God wants me to be or what He wants me to be doing with my life.
I am a student, working towards my bachelors degree. I don't know if I should continue with this. Or if I should go back in the workforce. Or something else?
Right now I feel very drawn to volunteering, helping others, serving, etc....but I don't know how to do this and keep a roof over my head.
I'm a single mom which makes things a little more complicated.
Any advice?

Hello Lynnette hope and pray you are doing good. I am no expert on anything but I haved been around for 61 years and from what I see an education in a young person is about as important thing yu can attain. But that is if you have a roof over your head and your child or children are taken care of as well. Second would be a job. But before any of these are followed right you need the word of God in your heart and mind to guide you. Allthought the Word says I can do all things through Christ you must first learn to be content in what soever state you find yourself in. If GOd wants you to do anything defferent than you are doing now I feel he would verify it through someone you might have trust in. Usually two or more in agreement. But that is not always so either. ...If I was in the position your in as far as I can see I would stay with what I am doing now. May God give you the geuidence and wisdom and understanding in all your life... Bobby Joe Trust in the Lord with all your heart. He will guide your steps.

If at all possible, stay in school and finish your degree. I've never known anyone that looked back and regretted getting a college education. I've never heard anyone say, "Wow, that was a big mistake. I really wish I hadn't spent all that time and hard work getting my degree." If God wants you to be doing something else, He'll open the doors for you and it will be apparent to you. It will be a no brainer. I hope you have someone helping you. You're probably experiencing burn out, because what you are doing is extremely hard and it can be boring also in many ways. Hang in there. If you can finish, it will be worth it.
