*may be triggering*

I have been away for some time to process the recent events of this pregnancy. We have been diagnosed as a Threatened Miscarriage for hemorrhaging, passing large clots of tissue and blood, as well as an "unstable fetal heart rate". We found out at 13 weeks 5 days that 1. baby has a 1:47 chance of Down Syndrome (of course we will love baby no matter what!) 2. we are having a BOY!

Unfortunetely, on 2/5 and 2/14 I was in the E.R both times with SEVERE dehydration, loss of blood, low potassium, a really bad UTI.. and (we are naming our baby Noah) Noah's hb has gone from 168, 152, 120, 105, and with a lot of prayers and fasting (my husband did the fasting) as of 2/14 Noah's hb went UP to 138, so that is good news. Though the ER Dr said I have an "unusually short cervix as well as a lump that is often times associated with cervical cancer". Praying it is not that serious and my OB can give some answers.

I am on permanent bed rest til Noah gets here, no exceptions except the restroom! No matter how much of a boring pain (literally painful to lay/sit all day) I will do whatever it takes within my power to make sure Noah gets here safely.

*currently 16w today* YEAAA BOOII

You've been through so much pain, but God is in control. I pray that His hand of protection be upon you during your pregnancy and delivery.
Cheers :)

@PCOS_TTC_MOMMY. Lord thank for my sister in Christ and her husband. Lord we are concerned for the life of baby Noah. I ask for your mercy and grace that you would heal this baby. Protect him and his mother. Bless all the nurses and doctors with wisdom and direction while caring for Noah and his mother. Bless and heal Noah's mind. Thank you that his mother loves him and wants him. Lord take care of all their expenses and provide them daily with food clothes
shelter and good Christian fellowship. Thank you, Amen! Larry.

Keep believing that your baby is going to be healthy because God is faithful. With my eldest daughter they told me that there was a strong possibility that she would have down syndrome and in the ultrasound they found a cyst in her brain. I put my faith in God and believed that she would be healthy. Well when she was born she was perfectly healthy-- no problems what so ever. My daughter is such a blessing to us. I am believing with you that your baby boy is going to be healthy. I pray that during this time of bed rest you would fall more in love with God and that he would shower you with His love.:)

Never underestimate the power that our God has.

Heavenly Father, we come together here to pray for this concerned mother and father. We know you want to bless us in every way when we give our lives to you and we trust whatever is in your will. Hear our prayers and see our faith. Protect the health of this mother and baby so that they can live their lives in to your glory. We ask for health and peace. Amen.

Stay strong in faith.

*TRIGGERING*

Unfortunetely the day I wrote my last post. That night, I began having contractions and my water broke. That post was written Sunday Feb 16th 2014 (why does it say the 17th?) Oh well. My water broke around 10:30pm 2/16/14 and at 11:57pm the 16th, Noah came and left this world from the warmth of my womb to the warmth of Gods arms... I'm not over it. I'm not okay. My faith is broken and I want so so badly to try again but I know my heart isn't in it right now. I have severe PTSD, Anxiety and Depression because of this. But I am so thankful we at least got to hold him and know that he was real, after so many years of trying we had something tangible to show for it and we know it is possible.
I am looking into getting my thyroid and pituitary glad checked as well as progesterone supplementing if/when we conceive again.

The blog I'm writing for our journey after Noah's loss. More possible clomid we may try IUI or IVF but I still want to try naturally... Sweet Angel Whispers

Pcos, please forgive me for saying this at this time. But a new human life should have every option available to make it work - whether that is natural or manmade. I would like you to consider a surrogate mother if you both haven't already. Your baby is still yours. It has your DNA. It is made in your and your husband's image. It's just born from another woman. I am so sorry that you will not have the chance to reunite with this baby for such a long time. But I feel that when it comes to your child's health and well-being new measures are in order. Don't you? Please forgive me. You have been through so much I am sure you can share your experiences with other mothers who have similar complications. The advice you have to offer may be of great value. And I'm sure you would be a blessing to them.

Actually we have considered this a great deal but we do not have the money to invest at this time, it is a horrible feeling, wanting to be a mother so so bad and missing something i never (til recently) got the chance to have. (til my angel Noah) and now that i know my eggs aren't as scrambled as we had once thought and my husbands swimmers are doing ok. I would consider this again. We have agreed to do as much natural intervention with what we have, while saving up for more invasive expensive procedures.

Do you have any experience with this? I know IUI has a much better success rate than IVF for my age range so I would go with that first as a last resort since every attempt is upwards of $15k. The financial burden is nothing compared to the gaping wound I call a heart...
thank you for the tip :)

I just saw this and my condolences for this great loss of your baby. I will pray for you, to begin the healing process, and maybe God will one day give you an incredible ministry dealing with both infertility and loss at birth. Right now, it sounds like it is just a giant, raw wound eating away your heart and soul.

But God is still in control, and he loves you, Noah, and your husband.

Although I have never been through this (I did lose a twin during my last pregnancy, which had me on an emotional roller coaster for months) I have not been hurt in this way like you have. But I have been struck down over and over by a disabling disease, which God used to shape and transform me, and he has brought an amazing ministry to the hurting, broken and dying out of it.

So I will pray for you, and if you want to PM me to talk about it, I hope I can comfort you and encourage you in your walk with Christ, at this terrible time.

I just read this and I pray that you get this message...I too have lost a child...it was many years ago..my son was 6..and I can
Give you alittle help with the outcome of this magnificent loss..nothing anyone will say ever really seems to help..there truly are
No words..people love you and just want to help..I m quite sure God will bless you with another..I finally had another and she is
Joy of my life...God spills alot of blessings on us.. even now im looking in the face of my 6yr old grand son...so my sad sister
Hard as is is to believe you too will smile and be full again...takes times...for now you cry as hard as you can..and dont let anyone
Tell you the right way to grieve ...cause the only way is to let God cradle you in his arms and just remember to breathe
If you need someone to understand I can and I will....peace for you my sweet girl..
