Sorry about your ill health.

Get a Bible. Rad John 3.16, which contains the Gospel in summary and has been a blessing to countless people.

It's about God and His love and His beloved Son Who died at the Cross so that sinner would not need to perish if they believed on Him, but might instead have everlasting life. Don't rest until you're really found what you are looking for!

Praying for you, Mike.

God intended for the natural and the supernatural to work together during our life here. That means follow all your doctor's directions but also seek God.

You may want to start attending a Christian healing room near you and get prayer. Healing Rooms - International Association of Healing Rooms

You may want to start attending a local vineyard or genuine Christian church (not a cult obviously) that believes in God's healing for today.

Some people do get healed. Not everyone but I've seen it happen and once I experienced it myself.

Get started friend.

The only thing better than knowing the words is trusting and living them. I will pray for both your physical and spiritual recovery and well being, as well as for your family who I'm sure is undoubtedly affected by this.

I don't know how answer. In my mind, i believe Jesus is God, and is the Son of God, that He made everything, and everything became ruined by sin, and Jesus took all the sin upon Himself, but i don't trust. Something is wrong with me. I have fear and depression because i don't trust. I have been pretty much off dope for more than four years, but the steps arent helping now. I need faith. Nothing will happen until my faith is bigger than my problem. I will be glad for all replies

Do you know why Jesus took it all upon Himself?

He did it for you, buddy.

He loved you THAT much.

He loved you long before you were born.

Before your grandparents were born, He loved you.

That's how much you're worth to Him, man.

He gave us a way out we did not deserve.

We spent our lives in sin, all of us.

We all fell so far short of the glory it is sickening.

Yet because our All-Knowing God knew we could never fulfill the Law,

He did it Himself. For you.

Just so you would have a chance to believe He did it for you.

The Jesus of the Bible is so real. . .not only did he take our sins on himself but he paid the price for them. He paid with his life. but he was raised from the dead and seen by the disciples. . . he promised them that he would go to prepare a place in heaven for them and all who trust in him and that these persons will live forever. . . he also promised that he the Father would send his Holy Spirit to live in us, so we can have peace, joy, guidance and become more like Jesus. I have personally experienced God's forgiveness for all my sins and I have many experiences with His Holy Spirit being my friend teacher and guide. I have seen God heal and provided for me and I know he can do the same for you... God loves you very much and is willing to forgive you of every sin and make you his son.

I believe, but i don't believe. Peter believed when he walked on water. Then he sank because he did not believe. I imagine tbis might be double minded. I don't know.

The only thing any of us need to know is that Jesus Christ is Lord, and if we repent for the horrible sins we've committed against Him, that we may be saved through His grace. You can know without any doubts that you are saved, my friend.

Have you ever encountered anything in your life and said to yourself, "Man this just cant be true!" "This is too good to be true!" yet knew it was true?

My friend, I think what you are saying is that you have faith but you want for your faith to increase. In Mark chapter 9 there was a man that was in a similar position as you are. I will pray that your faith will increase. And I encourage you to read from your bible the life of Jesus. May be the book of luke or John and also the book of Acts. the bible says faith comes by hearing the word of God. Sometimes also we tend to have more faith than we think we do but non the less I will pray for you. maybe you could also You tube some videos of people testifying of what God has done for them.

Just a warning, whatever you do stay away from Healing Rooms. There is so much wrong with that cult. I read one of their books that a person I used to know gave me. She told me I would be healed. I was not, esp. when I found so many scriptures pulled out of context to prove their points. Her son was a sexual pervert (molested his own sisters) and he was alternating between drugs and booze, and street witnessing for Healing Rooms.

The next time I saw the woman she didn't remember who I was. Apparently the Alzheimer's had completely taken over, which I suspected the first time I met her again. So much for their prayers being effective.

God can heal, but you need to be right with him. And trust him no matter whether he heals you or not. Sometimes God allows us to suffer, so that we can be given more hope.

"Not only that, but we rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces endurance, [SUP]4 [/SUP]and endurance produces character, and character produces hope, [SUP]5 [/SUP]and hope does not put us to shame, because God's love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who has been given to us." Romans 5:3-5

Praying for stronger faith for you! Keep reading and studying the Bible....God reveals Himself in His Word, through other Christians, and even in nature. Building your faith will take time and effort...but it will happen. Seek and you shall find.

You may be feeling panic right now and it's making it hard to concentrate. So first, I pray that His peace will descend upon you so you can be calm and think about what you are reading in the Word plus how you are to respond to this illness.

Death is not to be feared for those who believe in Jesus and knows what comes afterward. Sometimes it takes a crisis to make us really start to pursue the Truth and think about what happens after death. There is no guarantee that we'll live another day or another hour. Any of us can die in a accident of some kind and it will be over in an instant. Rather horrifying to think about but it's reality. All of those poor people on that missing plane had no idea about what was about to happen (....praying for them and their families).

It's hard to think about an illness as a blessing but there's two things that it will provide us with: first, the reality that we can, and will eventually, die; second, the hope that there is something more. Hallelujah, there is much more :). This earthly life we've been given is our opportunity to get things right with the Lord so we can spend eternity with Him. This body will someday disintegrate...yet our soul will remain. Sometimes, it takes a crisis for us to begin to seriously think about what this means.
[h=3]Matthew 6:19-21
[/h]New International Version (NIV)

[h=3]Treasures in Heaven[/h][SUP]19 [/SUP]“Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moths and vermin destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. [SUP]20 [/SUP]But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moths and vermin do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal. [SUP]21 [/SUP]For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also."

This spiritual growth can be for your family too. Do you attend church? Hearing the Word preached, singing worship songs, praying with other believers will strengthen you like nothing else will :). And you will be fulfilling the obligation of a father to lead his family into the truth and knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ :). They will be comforted and so will you.

Praying for your healing and especially for the guidance and comfort of the Holy Spirit. Be encouraged! God has your best interest in mind...and making the choice to believe, always, that He is a loving God, no matter what happens here on earth, will give you that strong faith that you desire. He will honor your request because nothing pleases Him more than the true desire to know Him :).
