I agree. The homosexual lobby is actively pushing against us.

Personally I feel if someone wants to be a homosexual and lead an LGBTQ lifestyle, it is their business. Just please do it quietly somewhere private.

The trouble is they are trying to change society, not merely to accept their views, but that we must think like them.

The church is so soft against any issue that has a hint of controversy. Well newsflash Jesus was confrontational against all sin.Why are we so afraid to take clear stands on what is wrong acording to our bible standards. It shows a lot of work still needs to be done to insure the body can walk in boldness and quit acting like children with Godly dealings and his word. Mature Christians need to take a stand and become proactive against this foolishness of any agenda that is against scriptural teachings.

I can tell you that it will never happen with me as I cannot stand homosexual behavior (sin)

The church should be sanctified, to be set apart for the purpose of worshipping God and learning about Him. We are given instructions on how to handle a case of immorality in the church, something that a sanctified church could not have within its ranks. It would no longer be a sanctified, unified body dedicated only to serving and worshiping the Lord.

Yet we are told we must tolerate it, because one of the missions of the church is evangelism. We are each told to evangelize, but that is not what the church is set aside to do. We are told we must love homos as God loves them, and that is true, but it is not loving them to let them be part of a sanctified church so that church is no longer sanctified.

standing firm does not mean we stray away from the truth or our faith. However we must adhere to the biblical way and not our own. I cant stand when we forget that. We are on the other side of all we say and folks are llooking at our lives and our words to see if they line up with the word of God. Lest ye forget the devil knows the word too that is how he is so effective against us when he twists it in our heads or twist our words. Once we write them they become an extension of us and our claim to be lovers of Jesus and his way. Just a few thoughts

this is the new norm, the acceptance of sin as a normal thing.

i'm not that fond of the gay parades and all that stuff. but what kind of proactive thing are you calling for? isn't it best to keep ourselves from that stuff and not be afraid of, or angry at lost people? no matter how bad their sin is, Jesus died for it. i can't say i have any gay friends (that i know of), just because i wouldn't have anything to say besides, man - that's just wrong.

but, it says he's the country's leading opponent of gay marriage or whatever. why not just live peacefully and let God decide? anyways, if he decided to take on the gay movement, why is he afraid for his life? if he thinks it's his calling from God he should be prepared to be persecuted (?) idk. why does it have to be political? it's a spiritual problem.

Not only does all that show that SunTrust is intolerant to conservs but they have no principles to run the business by...the loudest voice wins.
