Greg, the Lord often tears everything apart that we have built in our lives because He see's that there is a new foundation that must be built. He is that foundation. No construction worker can build the house first and then add the foundation. For the foundation must come first and that foundation is Christ.

I do not know your walk with Jesus, I do however know that sometimes we are tested even when Jesus is our foundation. Know that everything happens for a reason and when things get bad, praise God. When things get worse, rest in His peace. When we are being persecuted and put to death we should worship Him in a loud voice.

Think not that I have much. Think not that I have more than you for assuredly brother you have more than me. Praise God unceasingly and if you want to talk to me in private please message me and/or befriend me, my time and my heart are yours brother.

Sorry to hear this. You should read through the book of Job. He lost everything. Job's friends even discouraged him and said that he must have brought this upon himself. Job felt like he didn't want to live, but he wasn't mad at God. He said the Lord gives and the LORD takes-- that was his response. He knew that God is sovereign. Through all of this God was with Job. At the end of his trial, God blessed job a hundred fold. I encourage you to trust the LORD. He has not abandoned you. He has a plan for your life and all you need to do is depend on him. What you are going through is only for a season. The sun will shine again. Always remember that God loves you.

I was in the same predicament that you’re in now, I lived in a nice house with my 14 year old daughter and I was happy. Me and my partner wasn’t getting along great so my partner then told me and my daughter to leave without putting our feelings into consideration. ‘’I want you and your daughter out of my house, and I want you out now.’’

Me and my daughter was then made homeless and not long after that I had to watch my own mother die at her bedside, I then cried out to god and prayed with my heart and said the lords prayer. Every muscle throughout my whole body was aching with stress because I was broken inside. I was saying the lords prayer and as I got to the bit where it says ‘’deliver us from evil’’ I filled up with emotion because I knew my mum had been saved by the grace of God, and I was comforted by that. My Mum was my rock throughout my whole life.

I lost my partner and on top of that my beautiful precious mum. I had no money, no car, not even a mobile, and no one would even help me not even my own family, they all abandoned me. At this moment in time not even my own family would lend me a help in hand, I asked them to help me and they all said ‘’no’’, the only items that belonged to me was my holy bible, my laptop and a few bags of clothes.

When I was told to leave I was putting my clothes into plastic bags and I filled up with tears because God came to comfort me when I never asked him to.

I was moving into my cousins house with my daughter and I felt crushed on the inside and I couldn’t take anymore the holy spirit came to me and said these words ‘’I am here’’ and he was on the only one who never abandoned me whereas everybody else had.

My cousin lent me the money for a car and he also gave me a mobile. God then changed my cousin into a Christian and now he goes to church each week whereas before he never did, Amen. Praise be to our farther in heaven.

Me and my daughter then got offered a house to view, I suffer with a sleeping disorder so I set my alarm for 8am to get up and I heard someone call my name as I was sleeping and they were in front of me. it woke me up straight away. I then looked at the clock and it was 7am and because I got up at 7am I arrived on time to view the property. If I had got up at 8am I wouldn’t of got there on time and I would of lost it.

6 months down the line I am living in the property that we went to view, me and my daughter are really happy and we now have a lovely home, I have just brought another car, I have a great income and I am now better off than I was before. Everything I lost God gave me back and plus more.

When your world is falling apart and there is no light to break up the dark God will always be there for you. God is always watching over you, Amen.

The*Lord*is close*to the brokenhearted
****and saves those who are crushed in spirit.
Psalm 34:18

I am so sorry for your pain! Just remember God is always the same, good and loving even when our circumstances are changing. I know with myself it is much easier to say God is good when things are good but if I allow it the bad times produce the most spiritual growth.

Heavenly Father

I ask that you fortify Greg. Protect him from the devil who attacks when believers are weak, keep him strong so that his testimony will be a light in a dark world and encouragement to his daughters. Amen

greg, how can you say you have no life? Of course you do!! Just because you've fallen upon hard times right now does NOT mean that your life is over. We are not meant to live easy lives. If we were, life would be a complete breeze to get through. We are meant to suffer trials and tribulations. God has a reason why all this is happening to you right now. We dont always understand his reasoning, but then again we arent supposed to understand. God brought you to this, and he will bring you THROUGH it and you will emerge stronger than before. What doesnt kill us truly does make us stronger. I know he will bring out of this darkness and back into his light before too much longer. :)

Paul to the Corinthians says that comfort that we may be able to pass on to others can be because of the comfort we ourselves have received from our gracious Lord.
