i have looked for a job all my life.non now everyday my husband insults me over anydime he gives me.i feel like committing suicide.come may 4,if God does not give me a good job i will just leave this life.am a graduate with 2 degrees.pls just help n mention my case to God as u pray in ur closeth.my name is emmanuela.thanks.

Emmanuela, suicide is never the answer to someone's problems! That is a PERMANENT solution to a TEMPORARY problem. And it cant be undone. Suicide shouldnt even be an option in your brain as to how to solve your troubles with finding a job. God says thou shalt not kill. That means ourselves included. Taking a life is wrong, whether its our own or someone else's. I've contemplated suicide many times during my life, but my fear of going to hell if I do is what stops me. That and my knowlege that "this too shall pass." Your husband should be supporting you, not insulting you like he does. If you turn your mindset around to a positive outlook, I believe that god will send you the perfect job. Until then, keep the faith and pray and hang in there!! Good luck. :)

I will pray that you go to a doctor and get some help for this terrible depression. You are not alone and things can get better. Not having a job can be a trigger for depression, but that is not necessarily the underlying reason for your sadness.

I went through a deep depression about 15 years ago when I was bed- ridden with Rheumatoid disease. God helped me, but so did the doctors. The last three years I have failed 4 major drugs. I am in constant pain, but I can honestly say, I have a real peace that God is in control.

God gave me this verse, to help me through my depression. I realized God understand the cry of our heart.

"Why am I so depressed?Why this turmoil within me?
Put your hope in God, for I will still praise Him,
my Savior and my God." Psalm 42:5

Please put your hope and trust in God! He is in control and he will not fail you.

Thanks.i have been hoping for that since 10 yrs now my sibblings and mum look up to me.for financial support.how can i have 2 degrees n dnt have a job.someone has to ask God what HE WANTS FOR ME.i dnt get anymore.

he does not care anymore.if i do he will b happy to hear that he told me to just go away from his life.that he is tired.if am independent it will help me all around my marriage n family.

I've never met a Nigerian who I didn't respect or admire in some way. Every one that I've known or seen has been able to put a smile on my heart if not my face. They are very sincere people who are often cheerful, passionate and open to others. Maybe I just have the wrong impression of them, but it would be a shame if the world were to lose one.

I would like to pray for you and your family.

Hello sister! Don't give up hope. I was without a job for many years and then God just gave me a very good job in a big company, better than I would have expected. Don't give up and keep looking. But know only He can help you. Maybe you are too focused on your efforts and don't actually trust that God can do that for you. He is your Father and wants the best for you. Believe and you will see the glory of God. God bless!
