Hi guys! I am so glad I found this Christian Chat. I am Phoebe. I am from the Philippines where the strong typhoon hit. I am a pianist and a choir directress in our church.
After the strong typhoon Haiyan, there are kids that are in need. They need school supplies, and money for them to study in a christian school. I am only a student, and cannkt do this charity by myself. We're also a victim of typhoon, but I am helping others who need more. I am doing this not for myself to be written on history someday, but I am doing this for God's glory.
I have seen that many kids seem hopeless after the strong typhoon. Every Saturday, on our visitation day, I always ask a kid if how are they. They would just smile and say, I am fine but sad at the same time. They are sad because classes is about to start, and still they dont have money to buy school supplies and even pay for their entrance fee. I have been thinking, if only these kids were sent to a Christian school, they would probably say, I am fine because nothing is impossible with God.(Luke 1:37)
In a christian school, there will be more teachings about the Bible. I am praying that in God's perfect time, somehow, He will touch His Children's heart for these kids who are in need.
