[h=2]The Greatest Father’s Day Gift You Will Ever Give Or Receive[/h]by NTEB News Desk

[h=4]Look up and remember[/h]"And because ye are sons, God hath sent forth the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father." Galatians 4:6
Maybe you don't have an earthly father, maybe you do and he's not very good. I don't know. But if you're lost today, I would like to tell you about the Father you could have if you will receive Him. If you're saved, please allow me a brief moment to remind you of the Heavenly Father you do have.
A certain man had two sons: And the younger of them said to his father, Father, give me the portion of goods that falleth to me. And he divided unto them his living. And not many days after the younger son gathered all together, and took his journey into a far country, and there wasted his substance with riotous living. And when he had spent all, there arose a mighty famine in that land; and he began to be in want.

And he went and joined himself to a citizen of that country; and he sent him into his fields to feed swine. And he would fain have filled his belly with the husks that the swine did eat: and no man gave unto him. And when he came to himself, he said, How many hired servants of my father's have bread enough and to spare, and I perish with hunger! I will arise and go to my father, and will say unto him, Father, I have sinned against heaven, and before thee, And am no more worthy to be called thy son: make me as one of thy hired servants.
And he arose, and came to his father. But when he was yet a great way off, his father saw him, and had compassion, and ran, and fell on his neck, and kissed him. And the son said unto him, Father, I have sinned against heaven, and in thy sight, and am no more worthy to be called thy son. But the father said to his servants, Bring forth the best robe, and put it on him; and put a ring on his hand, and shoes on his feet: And bring hither the fatted calf, and kill it; and let us eat, and be merry: For this my son was dead, and is alive again; he was lost, and is found. And they began to be merry. Luke 15
Your Father in Heaven loves you so much, that He did something for you that will forever change your eternal destiny. He took your punishment on Himself, He paid the debt that you owed in His own flesh so you could go free. Today is Father's Day, but it's the Father who has the gift and wants you to receive it. Don't wait one more second, reach out with both hands and take. Go free and live! The scripture says that if you will believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, you shall be saved. It's a promise written in Blood and signed, sealed and delivered at Calvary. The Prodigal Son had to "turn around and go back", and so do you. Turn from the path you are on and run, don't walk to the Father's House where He is waiting to receive you. He promises that all who come to Him through Jesus Christ will be saved to the uttermost.
A father's love endures forever and ever...weeping endures for a night, but joy comes in the morning.

If you are already saved, prodigal or not, take a moment and look up. Look up far beyond the clouds and the stars, far beyond past tomorrow. Look up there, on the sides of the North, where He sits. Look up and remember all that He has done for you from the moment He saved you until right now. Think of His love, His gentleness, and His abundant tender mercies. Cause yourself to remember all the storms, the trials, every time you hurt and every tear you shed. And remember how He held you close while the two of you walked through it together. Weeping endures for a night, but joy comes in the morning.
It's Father Day, and your Heavenly Father doesn't want a tie, a card, or breakfast in bed. He wants you. He desires sweet fellowship with His children. Remember your first love, and hurry home.

My earthly father did not reflect God's heart, but praising my Eternal Father today!

Our Father in heaven,
Your name be honored as holy.
Your kingdom come.
Your will be done
on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us today our daily bread.
And forgive us our debts,
as we also have forgiven our debtors.
And do not bring us into temptation,
but deliver us from the evil one.
For Yours is the kingdom and the power
and the glory forever. Amen.
Matthew 6:9-13

what is man that You remember him, the son of man that You look after him?
Psalm 8:4

On that day you will say:
“I will praise You, Lord,
although You were angry with me.
Your anger has turned away,
and You have had compassion on me.
Indeed, God is my salvation;
I will trust Him and not be afraid,
for Yah, the Lord,
is my strength and my song.
He has become my salvation.”
You will joyfully draw water
from the springs of salvation,
and on that day you will say:
“Give thanks to Yahweh; proclaim His name!
Celebrate His works among the peoples.
Declare that His name is exalted.
Sing to Yahweh, for He has done glorious things.
Let this be known throughout the earth.
Cry out and sing, citizen of Zion,
for the Holy One of Israel is among you
in His greatness.
Isaiah 12
