How does one go about getting help and advice/assistance from other Christians who may have had experience in a sensitive matter when the Thread that has been created to deal with the subject has mysteriously vanished?
Are certain matters of life a taboo on CC?

there are some very conservative people on here - anyone can complain about anything

can you drop a vague hint here waht the issue is?

I had a thread posted, I think you where one of some that replied regarding my youngest son which I had legitimate concerns about and was seeking advice/experience from others who perhaps had the same matter.

yeah and my question was where does his friend come into it

I talk a lot about legalism and my sensitivity to people laying down the rules

something like this a person has to convince himself that it is wrong

I would remind him that there are 2 definitions of sin......

"To know what is right and not to do it; that is sin" - this is a sin of ommission

"Whatever is NOT done in faith is sin" - this is an overt sin - if you are unsure about it then you have sinned

"our consciences accuse and excuse us"

Leave it between him and God - my advice

I'm not too sure if I understand you, it seems like you do remember my post, what's disturbing to me now is how come it was deleted?...what do you think was out of line for that to happen?

Graybeard,
I am familiar with that thread....and it was moved out for adminstration review because of "some of the content"....
It may be moved back sometime today or tomorrow....
I apologize that I failed to leave a message so that you would be aware of the reason for the review and move of the thread.

Thanks,
Snowangel

some people's consciences have been seared and they will do whatever sin, whatever harm to another that they can get away with until some earthly authority stops them.

not all sin, what most people would label sin is sin, some acts that appear to be sin are simply the natural God given drive to survive in a world that has possibly taken something from them

GOD is love. GOD's will for anyone is that they always be at their highest and best potential no matter what they have done in life. But man likes to make judgements that are wrong and cause harm to lives and do not represent love. Jesus tells us to make right judgements
