Some Aussie stuff - this guy used to be on nationally broadcast secular kids TV here in Australia, and also has a mainstream country music career. He's also a swell Christian guy, and does a lot of kids music.

Ooooooh, you are in luck! I'm a music nut and I'm also a children's church worker.

Here's something from the 80's but it's good enough that it made it into my personal music collection.

CD or MP3 versions, even a cassette version if your equipment still goes back that far.

Shout Praises Kids collection is also good. Back when I got them they were numbered 1, 2, 3, 4, but they changed the labels since then...

They have CD and DVD versions, but some of the best volumes don't have DVD. I'm audio myself, not video, but you specified DVD so it might matter to you. Again, these songs made it into my personal collection.

Psalty is good... I put it in my collection after I trimmed out all the talking and just left the songs.

Avoid the "songs for li'l praisers" it's just too, too cheesy... but the rest of them are good. Don't ignore the older albums that only have CD versions - they're the best songs.

And yes, I sometimes get weird looks for listening to kids' christian music. Can't help it, when they're good they're good.

Davo, somehow I only just noticed you are an Aussie yourself - sorry if Colin was already on your radar, if only from Play School! :p

Ok, I may be a little more "out there" with this, but my 2 and 4 year old loves Family Force 5. It's not necessarily super biblical. But very clean music put out by some great Christian artists. Some of their favorites are "Chainsaw", "BZRK", and "Cray Button". By the way, I like em too!
