In rock that symbol has always represented the devils horns.
it might mean that to people predisposed to Satan worship, sure, but in common usage with regards to music, it is more like "that is some agreeable rock-style music i am hearing"
or "i enjoy heavy-metal genre sound composition"
or "loud, fervent guitar playing pleases my ears."

i get your point, and in retrospect mr. Cooper may not have been wise not to have arranged his fingers in a way that certain people would find fault with, but on the other hand (though i can't pretend to speak for him) i am quite sure that he was not meaning to indicate his allegiance with the illuminati or his servitude to the prince of darkness.
my assumption is that it was meant to be more to the effect of
"the style of music with which i am associated with and enjoy skillfully playing is akin to what is commonly known as 'rock and roll' and i would like by a simple hand-gesture to indicate a comaraderie with all of my listeners whose tastes are similar"

I would tread lightly when using devil symbolism no matter what the cause. If it is not of God you can guess who it is of. And I would comfortably say that the devils horns are not of God.

They also really use a lot of dark, death, destructive symbolism. Not just the devils horns.

I'll be willing to take their word and the word of other christians who like them and have been positively affected by them over the word of someone who equates them with illuminati anyday.

By all means, no one is holding you down and forcing you to believe anything. We are entitled to our own beliefs and opinions.

I think there is a line when you are a christian band going out to secular venues and what not , and I think christian bands cross that line many times. Its one thing to go into a bar and reach drunks for the Lord and another thing to indulge in their behavior and act like you are reaching them for the Lord. You'd be surprised how many "christian bands" are not even christians. Bands use it at a platform to launch their career because it's far easier to get recognized in the christian industry rather than secular. Obviously not all christian bands but a lot of them.

Can't have a conversation about music without some whack job trying to demonize something. If you don't like it, then don't open the thread. Your nutter illuminati ramblings and outdated thinking over music bring nothing to the conversation except arguments.

you can say don't open up a thread the purpose of this was to give your opinion of the band, if you don't like peoples opinions thats fine but you don't have to call people whack jobs simply because they think something different than you.

Actually, i do when they have whackjob beliefs. And the conversation turned from the band to putting down a lot of things. So yeah, it was off topic anyways.

Resulting to personal verbal attacks? Read the OP. It asked if anyone had an opinion on Skillet. I gave mine. If you can't handle that than maybe you should go start a pro-skillet thread or something? Educate yourself on the illuminati. It's very real.

OP means Original Post ;). That means the first post on this thread which was, "Does anyone have any opinions on this band as a Christian band? I have my own opinion, but I am curious as to what others believe and moreso why."

I didn't "foreshadow" anything. Jump to conclusions without reading threads much?

I don't think you understood Lynx's post at all. But its okay there was probably some secret symbolism in his word choice that ties him into being a mason or an illuminati plant. So I can forgive your obvious lack of reading comprehension. He wasn't asking what or where the physical location of the original post was or what it is. He was looking for the random person who started this thread who said they had an opinion but wanted to hear others first. She never came back to give us her opinion. So clearly her opinion was the one that was foreshadowed. Its not all about you. Well except for the freemason silence squads probably heading to your house for exposing them, apparently they are real serious about their secret satanic socitey that is propagated all over the internet a secret.

IM pretty sure getting annoyed by pathetic conspiracy theories doesnt equate needing to 'free myself from anger'. Moreso it probably means you should see a therapist. Like seriously every picture of an eyeball is not somehow tied to illuminati. That right there should be the biggest clue that you've been sucked down into a huge heaping pile of lies. Otherwise pirates were the best illuminati members ever with their eye-patches. I really though don't know why I'm bothering to have this conversation with you. You clearly have deluded yourself into believing in shadows behind every corner, so enjoy it. Just don't sit around and try to push your nonsense on us. We were talking about music. You want to talk about the illuminati? There is a whole conspiracy forum where you can find fellow nuts to have all the fun with you wish.

Whack job.....huh. That's pretty much name calling, & humiliating people for their opinions & facts. We were asked by the OP & responded accordingly.Did you respond properly? No. My recommendation to you since you have a closed mind, perhaps you should close that hole in front of it.

And I wasn't talking about anything you said. Nothing in my previous post had anything to do with you, nor was there anything in my post that anyone might accidentally think was referring to you. And why would you accuse me of jumping to conclusions and not reading threads?

I know what OP means. That's what I was referring to. The person who started this thread - ostensibly Destiny504 - mentioned she had her own opinion about Skillet, but she never returned to state what hers was and why she had that opinion.
