Valentine's nowadays is for EVERYBODY, spouses, children, cats, potted plants...
it used to be only guys who sent flowers, cards and gifts to their sweethearts anonymously,
it used to be for the unknown lover and the object of his desire,

Most people are unaware how MUCH Jesus loves them
so your post makes perfect sense. :)
