I sang at Orchestra Hall in Chicago. Cool, huh?

Do we really need this self-aggrandizement? Probably not.

I can't help but catch the irony of you combining about self aggrandizement ... By doing the very thing you're complaining about. Couldn't the same point have been made without you shining a light on yourself first?

Wow, that's really awesome, Moonbeam! :) Do you still play guitar? Both my sons are guitarists.

And wow, some of these persnickety commenters need to find out what grace in Christ Jesus is! Yikes!

STOP THROWING STONES, PEOPLE! :p

My dear, you have NOTHING to be sorry about. This is a free public forum and you are encouraged to share whatever you want. Don't let silly immature comments from people keep you from sharing your thoughts, son. There are plenty of people here who enjoy all kinds of music and would be very interested in hearing more about your guitar playing. :)

Clearly, you missed the point. We ALL have cool things in our past. Why don't we just start a "Brag Thread."

But let's not derail this any farther...

No. I got your point. And that's why I find it so ironic. You brag before criticizing about bragging.

Me and my friends used to try to form bands all the time. My best friend in college, he and I actually were a singing duo for a while. We sang in a talent showcase together. Good times. :)

I used to sing on my old church's worship team, but I graduated from the school where we met so I haven't been around in a while.
