There are a ton of Christian bands and artists around the globe bringing us God focused worship to enjoy and enrich our lives with. One thing I know is that there is no such thing as one group which is the best. However, maybe there are a block of ten which you think would be where you would start if your friend asked you who to listen to in Christian Music. Here's my list:

1. TobyMac
2. Casting Crowns
3. Francesca Batistelli
4. 4him
5. MercyMe
6. for King&Country
7. Britt Nicole
8. Newsboys
9. The City Harmonic
10. Matt Redman

What he said about the other band members being atheists is completely false. The lyrics to most of their songs really do sound like they came from someone who is a believer. I don't know what happened inside Tim's mind to make him do what he did but from what I have read it seems like he is rethinking what he believes....again.

I like a few songs by each one of them. Christian music, on the whole, is difficult for me to get into.

There are a whole slew of different sounds in Christian Music. From the pop/soft rock of a TobyMac, to the gospel sound of Daniel Young, and even the rapper to Choir music. Christian Music is the richest genre of music around.

I love, love, love Christian music. I stopped listening to radio 3 years ago and got rid of all my secular albums, not that they're bad, but I preferred to hear what encourages me as a Christian, not as a human of the world. I just started coming back to writing Christian music. The most underrated genre of Christian music, I think, is Christian soul music and it's sad to see very few artists. I pray, sincerely that more artists will rise up and say 'yes' to God's calling! I mean, yeah, it's a scary world out there, but then again, God has our back. To hear Christian songs every where would be a great great miracle.
