I have quite a few European music CDS' from the 90s'-fairly recent, which combine many musical styles ( Gothic/Rock/Heavy Metal, Classical, New-age, Folk, Celtic, Ambient, Jazz, and Pop). Many of these artists were very unique and they never would have even come close to being called Christian bands.

About 8 years ago, all of a sudden: a Contemporary Christian Magazine, went from promoting mostly new Adult Contemporary Artists to promoting mostly Rock/Heavy Metal Artists. I believe this to be an Illuminati conspiracy.

Many people would be shocked at how close bands like Red imitate the sound of bands which are considered Satanic. Why would they be imitating Modern Progressive/Rock/Heavy Metal bands?

Even the music stations in my area, which call themselves Country have been playing music very close to Goth/Rock/Heavy Metal style and the Progressive/Rock/Heavy Metal style. About a Year ago, a local Country music station even played a song close to the Melodic Death Metal style; everything- was the same, except for the singing style.

Why have so many different music stations been moving in the direction of Goth/Rock/Heavy Metal style and even the Progressive/Rock/Heavy Metal style? Is this all part of the Illuminati conspiracy?

Yea most new CCM music is completely punk/metal garbage which I hate....a lot of them do have gothic type looks like Kutless (which wears pentagram tatoos and stuff)....you can tell if their legit or not usually by their album covers and cd inlets.....guys like POD are not Christian especially when their CD inlets talk about witchcraft and use symbols from it......

Tobymac was a guy I used to listen to....until I found out about his symbols and looked deeper...he even has a song about the illuminati in his older diverse city record......

His blatant symbolism along with his song, and lions paw mannerism of grabbing the left side of chest are all consistent with masonry.....

The New Jerusalem Chronicle: Toby Mac and Third Day: More Examples of Covert Occultism?

We really need to be discerning in the the things we listen to and dig deep into each artist to see if they are legit or not...tobymac to me is not...so I stopped listening to him.

Even Michael W. Smith, whose music use to sound more gospel, started coming out with songs similar to that of a certain secular Progressive/Rock/Heavy Metal artist I have listened to for decades.

I think the Idea of the Illuminati is a tool from Satan. So many Christians spend more time pointing fingers, judging people's hearts and creating conspiracy theories about the illuminati they don't spend any time doing what God Actually tells us to do.

It's because I understand conspiracies like the Illuminati that I am better able to serve God.

Um. Michael W. Smith is anything but Progressive/Rock/Heavy Metal. He's Pop/Rock and on the lighter end of Rock.

Yeah, that's the one. Thanks, Evie. But he's far, far from anything resembling Progressive, let alone Heavy Metal.

And if you actually looked at what some of the artists are trying to convey in their songs, you wouldn't be judging them half as much.

Let me ask you how many lyrics and bands you've actually heavily researched? If you're not willing to take the time to understand, you don't have the room to judge.

He has similar melodies to a certain Progressive/Rock/Heavy Metal I listen to.

So what makes the artist you listen to non Illuminati when it makes Michael W Smith Illuminati?

As for the rest of what you've posted, I think you need to expand your horizons as far as what is available in the Christian (and I mean with an actual message) music scene.

In fact, here's a lovely number that doesn't just sound like death metal, it is death metal. It's about Bohemian Grove. It's not from my favorite Soul Embraced album but it proves the point nicely.

Usually when someone is shouting "our souls are not for sale, in Jesus name amen", they aren't trying to worship lucifer (because that would just be stupid).

There is a lot of very good hard material out there which does not paint a positive image about this world at all and points to Christ. I'm not sure how that isn't Christian, or how it could possibly help some over arching satanic conspiracy.

the thing that makes a person best able to serve God is humility.

  • the fastest growing genre (in terms of popularity and breadth of influence) of music is country, and has been the leader in this category for probably a decade at least. electronic dance music is a distant second. perhaps the illuminati are from Nashville.
  • a song having some distorted electric guitar riffs does not make it "death metal" or even "heavy metal"
  • i think it's more likely that the illuminati conspiracy is an illuminati conspiracy. it keeps people from focusing on Christ and His cross, and instead looking for demons under every rock and three-note chord.

Every music artist I have from the 1990s' that has distorted guitar riffs has always been considered to be in the Rock-Heavy Metal-Alternative Metal style. Just because the Modern Rock-Heavy Metal style I listen to became more popular does not change the fact that this style of music is still Rock-Heavy Metal.

Most of the newer so-called Country artists sound more like my Pop Rock/Heavy Metal than County. The Modern Pop Rock-Heavy Metal style I listen to has had the biggest influence in modern music.

I forgot to add, I also have Rock/Heavy Metal CDS' with electronic incorporated into the song structures.

So... Industrial, ambient, EDM, synthpop, futurepop, trance, techno, etc? What are we talking about here.

What makes these albums you own safe to listen to and some of the Christian material a satanic conspiracy?

If you have insight please share it.

Ultimatum77...don't you get it? Old lucifer, who was in charge of music, praise & worship in heaven is still at large, after being cast out. He is limited in power, but he still knows how to lie and confuse. He will take something that is holy and acceptable, such as sweet annointed praise and worship music and distort it. He likes to present things in fashion. He wants instrumentation to overpower the words. He wants nothing more than to chip away a person's inclination to 'hear" the WORD as it is being vocalized and performed. Performance, to satan, is the key to his success. The bling, the glitz, the presentation takes precedence over the gospel. Laser lighting, modern technological wizardry and 'shock" value rule because he's offering eye and ear candy to the masses. I've seen many modern day performers yell to the audience "Get off your (Explicit)!!! They raise a beer can, a Jack Daniel's bottle, or even a rolled joint and sing "AMAZING GRACE".
