On the Media Player radio guide, I stream this one station which features "Piano Perfect" ~ their byline reads:
"The perfect blend of solo piano and piano based instrumental compositions. This station provides a truly beautiful and elegant music experience."
It's rather artsy & eclectic, but I've never heard such beautiful piano pieces before. Just so lovely!

I love solo artists also In 1988 I was in a used bookstore shopping for a dictionary. The music playing on the intercom was so beautiful, I asked the salesperson what it was: solo guitar by William Ellwood from his Openings recording. I bought it later that same day. Solo pianists are also a fave. When I saw George Winston, nobody recognized him when he walked out on stage, so completely unassuming in his non descript t-shirt, blue jeans and sneakers He introduced himself so we would know who he was before taking his seat at the piano bench. He also played some slide guitar that night, but it is his piano playing that is truly stellar. Here is a solo guitar piece by William Ellwood, called Eternal Holly.
