Idk much about it, but I do like Four Seasons(Spring) by Vivaldi & Moonlight Sonata by Beethoven...
If those count lol.
our kids gave us four wind chimes in the keys of each of the Four Seasons concertos.

they sound so good, i want it to be windy all the time. :)

There's a whole world to be discovered with Classical music for those who haven't yet gotten into it.
On the Media Player radio guide, I stream this one station which features "Piano Perfect" ~ their byline reads:
"The perfect blend of solo piano and piano based instrumental compositions. This station provides a truly beautiful and elegant music experience."

It's rather artsy & eclectic, but I've never heard such beautiful piano pieces before. Just so lovely!

I have a friend who is an alternative rock music composer/artist and he incorporates classical music in several of his songs. In fact, his music has been played in some movies & television shows.

I love solo artists also :) In 1988 I was in a used bookstore shopping for a dictionary. The music playing on the intercom was so beautiful, I asked the salesperson what it was: solo guitar by William Ellwood from his Openings recording. I bought it later that same day. Solo pianists are also a fave. When I saw George Winston, nobody recognized him when he walked out on stage, so completely unassuming in his non descript t-shirt, blue jeans and sneakers :D He introduced himself so we would know who he was before taking his seat at the piano bench. He also played some slide guitar that night, but it is his piano playing that is truly stellar. Here is a solo guitar piece by William Ellwood, called Eternal Holly.

This was very popular in the late sixties. :D
Mason Williams - Classical Gas

It is a guitar piece like no other, an anthem for an era, the most influential, most played,
most loved instrumental hit of all time. So says the web site for Mason Williams :D

On the back of a 33 1/3 record I got in elementary school was Peer Gynt.

Not sure about the conductor in this version...kind of a character...almost looks like priest outfit...
