I play violin, and cello, and paino and fiddle

Instruments are wonderful. They can provide an escape when life needs one, playing on helps with memory (I bet we've all heard that haha)

Violin has been my biggest escape. And my best friend xD
I named my violin Lindsey
She's my Bestie xD

I play drums which is almost like a violin because they're both made from wood.

I took piano lessons a long time ago and could play a few songs on the piano, but now I just sing. :p
Oh and pianos are made of wood too!

Lol did you know pianos are part string instrument?
I taught myself pain actually :p

LOL that reminds me there was a guy on Are You Smarter Than. A Fifth Grader and the question was what type of instrument is a violin. The guy said woodwind cuz it's made out of wood xD

That's pretty funny:) I love how the purpose of the show was to embarrass adults, lol. Most of the questions were pretty easy, but every so often they would include a really tricky question. I remember some of the history questions, in particular, were difficult.

I've played so many things it's hard to keep track.

school recorder in school band
stylus phone
leaf!
then taught myself the flute, guitar, piano accordion, piano to level 4,
also had a bash at the oboe, keyboard.

Now ive settled on the saxophone.

Music is a gift from God to worship Him, lift ones spirit and to edify each other,
also it is used in spiritual warefare etc.

Such a pity that it is often misused, but when it is used the way it was intended
it is a powerful force for good.

LOL @ the guy's answer

I thought pianos made sound when the keys struck the wood under them, and the back part was just a large storage area..

just kidding of course.

I wanted to learn guitar but I tried on my friend's and my fingers are too short. :( Plus it just felt weird..

And wow you taught yourself piano?! That's impressive!

Try the saxophone, people associate it with men, but the key set up is more suited to the
smaller hands and fingers of a woman.

I also (mostly) taught myself violin.
I started out with a teacher then we couldn't afford it and I taught myself the rest.

If saxes weren't so expensive and loud, I would. But you can't sing and play a sax either...

I wish I could say I taught myself drums but I took lessons in high school and was in all my HS bands so I had to read sheet music too. I did teach myself to sing though (with some help from youtube) :D
