Hi, I'm new to this site and forums in general. I write and produce music, I started really getting into writing my own music and using my passion to write and escape from reality sometimes and spread the word of God. I'm a dreamer and an introvert so making friends has always been hard for me to do! But anyways, I just finished an album and I'm in the process of getting it on iTunes and Spotify! And I would love some feedback on my newest song called "Another Day" so I can work on it if needed!

I like the music and the Text. The singing isnt exacly my type but all in all I find that you did a very good job and I can encourage you to keep it up

I always say things as I see them, so here is my analysis.. lol.. :)

First of all, the white vibrating thingy in the middle of the screen is annoying and has got to go. Second, I could barely see the lyrics, make them darker and put a colorful background instead of just the black screen. :) Third, it would be nice to SEE YOU sing, instead of just watching a black screen with a white vibrating thingy, and just hearing the lyrics. Fourth, maybe put a little more emotion into your voice when you sing. You sound like you're just randomly singing out loud, instead of to the Lord.. Other than that, it's a good song.. :)

Thank you so much everyone for the honest feedback! It's a breath of fresh air hearing other peoples thoughts and opinions! Regarding blue_ladybug, I completely agree! I am by no means a video producer and have am very limited with what I can create regarding lyric videos! Even though God has blessed me with a beautiful home recording studio, the whole video creation thing is a little beyond my skill set! I'll do my best to improve that! Thank you so much for your thoughts!

Demi777 - I am ALWAYS looking for people to work with!! I actually have a few songs that have a female lead part that I just haven't been able to find/fill cause ya know, voice limitations and all.. And being an introvert it's really hard to meet people haha

Im introverted before my cup of coffee in the morning.. then I become extroverted. I sadly live in germany so cant do a lot for you but I surely would if theres a way :) You can ask bunches of people in here I sing good lol so dont be scared lol

Are you looking to break into the music business? Or are you just wanting to share your music? If you want to get into the music business you need to get your music to the right people,which is not always an easy thing to do. You have a talent for singing and writing,there's no doubt about that. I sang and traveled for years in ministry but I wasn't interested in going into the business of music. I could have and had offers but other singers advised me that you can lose a lot of control and freedom if you let Nashville take control. Many people try to stay independent and that was the best advice I ever got I believe. But it all depends on what route you want to take.

That's a really tough question. It's something I've prayed about a lot, right now I'm attending community college just to get the general eds out of the way, and I'm kinda lost as to what I want to do. As I've said before music is my passion and ultimately it's in God's hands as to what He wants and if He choses me and my music to spread His word. If I could do it for a living, it would be a dream come true, although I have no connections to the music industry (I come from a really small town). I don't want fame or anything of that sort, but at the end of the day if I can help one person out through a song I wrote and touched them in some way through the power of music and the songs God gave me, then I know maybe I did something right? I'm sorry if that didn't really answer your question, but I guess if somehow I could do it even if it's just a hobby and support a family in some way or another then yes!

I like the use of electric piano block chords sounds great! I would second BLB and say to make the video a bit more interactive/captivating....showing a wmp visualization takes away a bit from the overall music video....An easy way to make a music video is to just type in mountains, streams or scenery in google images and copy/download a ton of images to your desktop then put them in the video queue along with the song.....it keeps the viewers attention a lot more that way.....if you would like I could help you with video stuff, I'm not a pro or anything but I know how to use basic video editing software and put some nice basic effects/transitions on your video.....pm me if you're interested! The way you're going about spreading your music is a good way to test the market so to speak....spotify has a huge customer listening base so it's a great way to get exposure.....also you may want to consider advertising on AMazon music and offer a sample track for free to get hits on your album.....I heard that Amazon has less royalties compared to ITunes for artists so that's my reason for choosing AZ over Itunes.....

Thank you Ultimatum! And yes, I agree the visualization isn't the best, and that's probably one of my weakest points! I don't really have any film,video making/youtube making skills! So any help would be amazing! I love to work with others on projects like this! I'll pm you once I get home! As for the iTunes and Amazon thing, there's this website called CD baby that does all that releasing stuff, I'm considering going through to release the album. They say they release to almost every audio distributer, so that's defiantly something I'm open to!

So just to be clear, are you wanted to make CDs and travel in churches? That is something you can do independently. Or are you hoping to go with a company to promote you and your music. I guess that is what I was asking.lol
