Idk maybe it's just me but I just feel like the lyrics don't go with the sound of the music in the two videos. It doesn't seem to match. I really enjoy listening to hardstyle though. Wasted Penguinz is one of my absolute favorite bands but, as their name suggests, their songs aren't always that wholesome. Most aren't that bad though. Nothing compared to a lot of pop and rap songs out there.

Sure, every music is fine to listen to as long as the lyrics are not in contradiction with God.

That's subjective, though. I listen to all sorts of Christian music from death metal to punk to reggae and more. None of the lyrics seem out of place to the music. The only way it could is if you apply morality and sin to the construction of sounds, which i do not do. If you want to apply sin and morality to a collection of notes and beats, then you're free to do so. But i'm going to go and listen to things you'll miss out on.

Yeah I'm not saying it's wrong. I think the second video just reminded me of some hardstyle songs like "Hahaha" by SMF or "The Dark Side" by Alpha Twins. When I was younger I used to listen to those types of songs when I was really angry at God. For me they seemed wrong and I wanted that. Honestly, it was probably the graphics on the youtube video more than the music that were making me think they were bad. But yeah I think it probably depends on the person like you said.

I guess I'd say it depends on what memories/feelings a song brings up/creates for a person.

depends... are you wearing tripp pants and shuffling to it? lol just kidding, I don't think its bad, some lyrics are ok.. I would say though, some bands like Psyclone nine, Agonize and Centhron probably aren't too good for a christian, and i would just leave them alone. You might want to branch out and try different genres though.

No, it's not the style. You just have to be careful about the message and it's influence on you.
